Personal reasonsfor choosing to study nursing may ary) and thechoice may (e the true 1ill of the student or not.This study aims to e5+lain a correlation (et1eenthe 1illingness to choose nursing as a course incollege and the general aerage of the student8as a gauge of academic +erformance9.

This study aims to determine a correlation (et1eenthe 1illingness of a student to study nursing and the generalaerage of the student. The sam+le of this study includest1enty =rdyear nursing students of Dr. Yangas College Inc.3e 1ill nd out the general aerages of these students foreery semester since their rst year u+ to the +resent. sam+le is limited to the students of Dr. Yanga) 1hich uniesthe enironmental conditions of the +artici+ants. The sam+le1ill (e gien a surey in a form of a uestionnaire.

This study 1ill not generate an actual causal relationshi+(ut attem+t to esta(lish a correlation and in turn identify atrend through one measura(le attri(ute the generalaerage. Further studies may (e a(le to sam+le a (igger
