* A Study on the Court of Qing-dynasty’s Tea Culture by Examining /Qian-long / Emperor's Tea-poems Part On /The LeShanTang/ Gu. Wen (Received OCTOBER 31, 2009) Abstract The purpose of this paper is to examine the root reason why the Emperor Qian-Long (r.1736-1795) of the fourth emperor of the Qing-Dynasty had paid so much attention to enjoy drinking and processing tea.Moreover, this paper aims at discovering the traits hidden behind his “Tea Poems”, such as kinds of tea offered to the Emperors during the Qing-Dynasty and also finding out how the Emperor Qian-Long cultivated himself in the field of tea. In addition, this paper analyzed the “Tea Poems” of "LeShanTang” which is the poetry collection of works of the Qian-Long when he was an imperial prince.
