Auctioneer’s Notes

This sale of Straw behind the combine allows buyers the opportunity to purchase

small or large quantities at a central sale venue.

The Lots as described are available for inspection at all reasonable times,

preferably by telephoning the Vendors with an indication of your pending visit to

ensure that someone is available to show you the Lots on offer.

Conditions of Sale

1 The Auctioneer’s usual Conditions of Sale appertaining to the Sale of Goods

will apply.

2 The Vendors will give Purchasers as much notice as possible of their intention

to combine the crop.

3 Purchasers will be required to remove the straw from the field within seven

days of the crop being combined.

4 All the straw will be sold on a per acre basis.

5 The Vendors will use a combine as detailed in the catalogue.

6 The Vendors will ensure the crops are cut as short as possible (max 6’’ height)

and leave the straw in a swath behind the combine.

7 Purchasers are to effect insurance from the fall of the hammer, as the

Vendors accept no liability for damage, which may occur to the straw after

purchase.

8 Howkins & Harrison and the Vendors reserve the right to change the lotting

details; any changes will be announced at the time of sale.

9 The Auctioneers will be giving options to purchase a combination of Lots –

details of which will be given at the sale.

10 Payment is strictly due on the night of the sale.
