During the drive…

While driving, AutoGrade shows the real-time score with a blue meter. The meter actively shows the score, but feedback is on a demand basis. If a user wants real-time feedback, he can activate it with his voice. This system keeps the driver focused and his emotions in check, ensuring a high level of situational awareness.

After the drive, AutoGrade gives detailed, actionable, and constructive feedback with a voice feedback system. Based on criticism research conducted by Dr. Clifford Nass of Stanford University, it starts with negative feedback and improvement suggestions, followed by positive feedback, to make a lasting impact on the driver.

After that summer, Chris and his dad go to Stanford for move-in day. They arrive at SFO and look for a taxi that can take them to campus. There are a lot of taxis but only a few of them have decent AutoGrades. To Chris and his dad, safety is important. They find an available cab with the best AutoGrade, and travel to campus without worries.  

While at school, Chris wants to use Zipcar to drive to San Francisco. Zipcar normally would not approve Chris to use their system because of his inexperience. However, because Chris’ AutoGrade is so high, Zipcar has allowed him to use the service and even rewarded him with a “Good Driver Discount”.
