How A Small Tweak in Attitude Can Change Your Life I had been struggling to make a living with online marketing for about 2 years when I finally acknowledged that my mindset was not in the right place. I was resistant to many of the practices of online marketing because I considered myself to be “above” them. For instance – I refused to get on Facebook, Twitter or IM forums until 9 months ago because not only did I view these activities as a waste of time and energy, I didn’t want to share myself publically. In fact, I started my online marketing career under a pseudo name and kept my real name under wraps – never to be revealed! Check Your Ego – Is it Getting in the Way? The truth is – it IS possible to make a living online anonymously if you really want to, but you still have to put yourself out there in public under your fake name, or no one will ever find you. When I finally started interacting on an IM forum using my real name and picture – I realized how silly my notions were. If I hadn’t put myself out there, I would never have met some of the most talented (and nicest) people in the industry. Now I am on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, IBOToolbox and so on. This small shift in attitude changed everything for me. Building an online network has taught me that people are people and we’re all in the same boat in this life and we are meant to share with one another. The interesting thing is when you make a small mental shift like this it affects you physically as well and propels you into another space altogether.

How A Small Tweak in Attitude Can Change Your Life

I had been struggling to make a living with online marketing for about 2 years when I finally acknowledged that my mindset was not in the right place.
