Prelude ....................................................................................... Crown Him with Many Crowns ARR. MOKLEBUST Choral Introit Opening Words & Call to Worship ~ from Revelation 21 & Psalm 148
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals. God will dwell with them; They will be God’s peoples, and the very person of God will be with them;
God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; Mourning and crying and pain will be no more, For the first things have passed away.”
And the One who was seated on the throne said, “See, I am making all things new.”
Also God said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
Then God said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring of the water of life. Let them praise the name of the Lord, For God’s name alone is exalted; God’s glory is above earth and heaven.”
Praise the Lord! Mountains and all hills, Fruit trees and all cedars!
Wild animals and all cattle, Creeping things and flying birds!
Kings of the earth and all peoples, Princes and all rulers of the earth!
Young men and women alike, Old and young together!
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise God in the heights! Praise God, every angel; Praise God, all the host of heaven!

God of mercy, your command to love one another across all differences opens us to new horizons; yet, we often respond with fear and judgment that hinders your goal for humanity. Forgive our sins, we pray, and give us a true repentance that leads to life for all creation. We pray in Jesus’ name. (Let us continue in prayer silently)

CHEREPONI Recognition of Graduates
Great Teacher, In your will our lives are lived, And by your wisdom truth is found. We pray for graduates who finish a course of study, And move on to something new. Take away anxiety or confusion of purpose, And give them confidence in the future you plan, Where energies may be gathered up And given to neighbors in love.
We ask that the friends and families gathered around them Today might be a sign of your love for them, and your good Intentions for their lives. We thank you for the love of parents who have sacrificed and Given direction, For the good efforts of teachers and administrators and Coaches, for the fellowship of friends and colleagues.
O God of the past, present, and future, Help these graduates to know that you will be active in The future as surely as you have been in the past. Help Them to be aware of Christ as their Good Shepherd. For we pray remembering how your scriptures teach us To seek justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God.
Amen

* Affirmation of Faith ~ Apostles’ Creed I BELIEVE in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the
Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of
saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen

Jesus, my Lord, my life my all, Hear me, blest Savior, when I call;
Hear me, and from thy dwelling place Pour down the riches of thy grace.
Jesus, too late I thee have sought; How can I love thee as I ought?
And how extol thy matchless fame,
The glorious beauty of thy name?
Jesus, of thee shall be my song; To thee my heart and soul belong; All that I have or own is thine,
And thou, o blessed Savior, thou art mine. Jesus, my Lord, I thee adore;
O make me love thee more and more.
