Students who choose to do Additional Math will be doing the Express Syllabus for Elementary Mathematics from Sec 3NA onwards as well.

In Sec 4NA, students will take only the ‘O’ Level Examination for Elementary Mathematics. In addition, they will take the ‘N’ Level Examination for Additional Mathematics.

DPA Exercise

Those who are successful in the DPA will be required to attend an 8 week Poly Preparatory Programme (PPP) between Jan-Mar




All interested students & parents should check the JC, Poly & ITE websites to find out what the JC, Poly & ITE are offering and start preparing for the DSA-JC or DPA or ITE opportunity in 2-3 years time

PFP 1 year practice-oriented programme Alternative to study in Sec 5 Must pass all modules in the 1-year PFP as

a criteria to continue study in the Poly Letter of Offer to selected 4NA students

PFP Eligibility EL + MA (Math) + B3 (Best 3 subjects)

excluding CCA bonus points provided that EL 3 and MA 3

N Level Exam results (allowed to combine N & O Level subjects. Better grade computed if same subject)


FOR NA students



PFP Eligibility Raw aggregate score of 11 points & below

excluding CCA bonus points

CCA bonus points will be included in the computing of the ELMAB3 net aggregate score


FOR NA students



DPP Eligibility NA students who do well in N Level exams

and eligible for ITE Higher NITEC programme


FOR NA students

Diploma courses if their FINAL ITE raw GPA meet the Qualifying GPA

GPA 2.5 admit to 1st year Poly GPA 3.5 admit to 2nd year Poly
