A Prayer for the Homeschool MomLord Jesus, I thank you for waking me up today. Thank you for all the good things that you have predestined for me on this day. Right now, I cast my care on You. I will not live today worrying about tomorrow. Fill my heart with Your love for my husband, our children, our home and our homeschool.

I need more of you. Please draw near to me as I draw near to you. Help Your thoughts become my thoughts and help Your ways become my ways. I cannot do this without you. I believe in Your truth that I can do all things through You, who gives me strength. I receive from You the energy and vision I need for this day.

I give You my to-do list, my agenda and my school planner. I fully welcome the Holy Spirit to have His way with my plans. If I have anything on my list that is not of You, I thank You that You expose it to me and give me wisdom.

Help me focus my heart on my family today. Help me give them my very best in every area and situation. Where I fail Lord I thank You that Your wondrous grace and mercy fills in my gaps. I praise You, that our children receive what they need in You.

Thank you that you bless our school time. Help my children learn the skills that You need for them to learn. The writing, reading, math, science, history, foreign language, art, music, etc, are all to point my children back to You. More than any academic knowledge Lord, help my children personally know You. That is my goal.
