There is an African proverb which states, “It
takes a village to raise a child.” In this Arabia
Mountain High School village, parents are an
integral part of our commitment to “raising
academically motivated students.”
We are both intentional and consistent in our
efforts to ensure that parents are resourced
with relevant information to assist students in
successfully maneuvering the demands of our
academically rigorous environment. Through
our school website, Parent-Teacher
Conferences, Infinite Campus, PTSA, Counseling
Center, and most recently, our Parent Resource
Center, parents are provided opportunities to
know where students are academically, at all
times.
Our AMHS Parent Resource Center (created
during the 2018-2019 school year) is equipped
with computers, a printer, lending library, and
additional resources designed to further engage
our parents, and assist them in their in-home
parenting of students. Coffee, tea, and treats
are usually served in our Parent Center, M-F,
from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
