About Us
Caloundra Community Kindergarten provides an approved Kindergarten program. Our program runs Monday to Friday 8:30a.m. to 2:35p.m. during the school year.Children have to be 4 years old by the 30th of June in the year they attend.
Red Group : 5 day fortnight - Monday & Tuesday every second Wednesday.
Yellow Group : 5 day fortnight - Thursday & Friday every alternate Wednesday.

Please visit our Kindy between 2:45p.m. & 3:15p.m. Monday to Friday during the school term, or phone 5491 1746 to make an appointment, or email us and we can provide you with a waiting list form and internet banking details.
Bookings are recommended from birth A $10 non-refundable fee applies

BUILT ENVIRONMENT !
Our beautifully designed playground is well shaded and provides play spaces which stimulate discovery and imaginative play. There are areas to promote gross motor development and quiet places where children can relax or create.
We have an established vegetable garden planned and maintained by the children.
Children have a high degree of input into the organisation of the environment and their voices are heard and valued as they are encouraged to contribute their ideas to the setting
TEACHING STAFF!
Our teaching staff are 4 year university trained and registered early childhood teachers who work in partnership with qualified early years educators.
All staff have a current positive blue card for child related employment and first aid certificate.
CURRICULUM!
Our kindergarten follows the C&K Building Waters curriculum which aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Enlarging ~ Children learn skills necessary to develop and maintain friendships.
Listening ~ Children learn to listen to & understand other peoples points of views.
Connecting ~ Children explore early mathematical and literacy concepts through play.
Exploring ~ Children learn to think logically and deeply through play.
