A TIME OF ELEVATION
Minister N’fanniee Kazouch
So why rejoice? God is good! He is wise! He is
in control! And He knows what He is doing!
Where is God elevating you to? Will he enable
you to have great victories? Will you see
people healed of cancer through your prayers?
Will you be able to see change in our public
schools so they become places where God’s
name is consistently honored? Or will your
elevations be more like Habakkuk’s, more like
those described in Hebrews 11:35-38: Mocked,
beaten, imprisoned, poor, destitute.
Whatever high places you desire, know that
God is guiding you there – even if, like Joseph,
you are partially responsible for your situation.
God will guide you, He will enable you to
endure, He will enable you to rejoice. Trust
Him. Delight in Him. Throw yourself upon
Him. And love Him with all your heart, with
all your soul, with all your mind, and with all
your strength.
God is saying to you and I, now "is" the time,
the season, the age, this month to elevate my
people...
God bless and keep you. In His Service!
IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!

time I elevate MY man...not just any man-only those that are called and chosen by ME saith the LORD. Habakkuk 3:19- The LORD GOD is my strength, and HE will make my feet like hinds' feet, and HE will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments This explains how Habakkuk rejoices in the midst of the terrible suffering! He say his feet are made like those of a deer? What is implied by “high places”? And what does he mean by He “makes me walk”? “He will make my feet like hinds’ feet” (in order words like the feet of a female deer.) – tough cloven hooves that are not hurt by sharp rocks, but are able to grip the smallest plant. They don’t slip. They don’t fall. The point to note here is not the power of the sheep, but the design of the sheep’s foot. Habakkuk uses the word for the female deer, not the male, to make this point; because of her special feet. So Habakkuk rejoices that his feet are made like deer’s feet designed by God to travel over the most difficult ground. “My High Places” In the days of Habakkuk “high places” meant a difficult, challenging place. A place one would not want to go unless it is absolutely necessary. “Makes me walk on my high places” Habakkuk is not talking about a time of climbing high places. He dreads what God has in store for him, he knows the path is very challenging, very dangerous. In that sense, God is leading him to a place he does not want to go. Yet God is his strength, and Habakkuk is confident that God will enable him to do what he could never do on his own. And that is why he is joyful! God led him to this very spot. And though there is pain and difficulty here, he knows that God will either rescue him from the danger or allow him to die. But even death is controlled by God, and only will come about if God so directs.

man-only those that are called and
chosen by ME saith the LORD.

BEHAVE LIKE A CHRISTIAN By Al Diestelkamp Our Lord has placed a duty on us to act fairly and kindly in our dealings with all men (Rom. 12:17). Lest we forget, we have a special relationship with other Christians which should cause us to have an affection for them so as to treat them in a preferential way (Rom. 12:10). Certainly, there are times when we must confront error. We must do so vigorously. However, our zeal for truth must not cause us to use just any tactics to accomplish what we consider to be the desired effect.

“Change your thoughts and you change the world.” Norman Vincent Peale
BEHAVE LIKE A CHRISTIAN We all know that “the end does not justify the means,” but sometimes we may overlook that when some doctrinal error is being attacked.
Whenever we have to deal with error, we are obliged to abide by the same rules as we demand from those in error. If it is wrong for brethren who practice error to place a restriction on what subjects can and cannot be addressed, it is also wrong for us to do so on other subjects.
Hopefully, we wouldn't “sit still” if our more liberal brethren were to draw up a prepared statement which they expected new members to sign before accepting them into their fellowship. If so, we should also be appalled when the same thing is done by more conservative brethren.
When trouble arises in a congregation, there is often a struggle to control the pulpit and the property. We may bemoan the fact that, more times than not, those in error are able to maintain control. This may be due to the fact that they have no scruples against doing what is unauthorized.
We, on the other hand, do not have the liberty to act like them. We must behave like Christians.
