With Pastor Darren’s and Lani’s feeling God’s leadership to leave Valley Isle Fellowship, this will mean many changes and many of which will prob-ably be uncomfortable changes. However, as we all keep our eyes on Jesus and seek to bring glory and honor to Him, these
changes can bring honor and blessing to our Lord. Pastor Darren and Lani both have desired for every-one in VIF to rise to the point where we would all be grounded and centered fully in Jesus and in Jesus alone. We would be bringing glory and honor to the Sarmientos, but most importantly to the Lord Jesus Christ, by giving ourselves fully to Jesus Christ. Imagine what kind of people and church we would be if we were to become all that Pastor Darren has been preaching and teaching. Imagine the numbers of people that would be won to faith in Jesus Christ and to be discipled into solid and mature lovers of Christ. In Jesus, there is joy and fulfillment so that we would be a people so fully blessed.As you know, the world in which we live in is a world that is full of hatred and division. Imagine if we
Years ago, a group called “The Byrds” made popular a song that came from Ecclesiastes. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (KJV) 1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
To everything there is a season. Meaning, that things do not remain constant, but change is a natural part of all things. So it is within the life of Valley Isle Fellowship and all churches. Change is one of the only things that is constant. However, look at Ecclesiastes 3:11
(KJV) He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. Change can be very disturb-ing and disruptive unless we view them in God’s time. In His time, He makes all things beautiful. In Valley Isle Fellowship, we are faced with a time of change. If God is bringing all of this about in His time, then He will make all of the beautiful. However, if we allow Satan to play around with our hearts and minds, he only desires to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 (NLT) The thief’s purpose is

became part of God’s solution to the evil in this world. Imagine if we were a people who were united in loving each other and our Lord as He loves us. Imagine if we were a people united to love an evil world with the love that Jesus loves them with. This is a very possible scenario as we yield ourselves to lovingly trust and obey Him. He will never leave or forsake us, but He will always empower us to carry out His will to bring Him all glory and honor. He is constant in loving and providing for us. We are the variable. It is up to us to be constant in our love and obedience to Him. Once we stop wavering and once we stand steadfast in Him, then we will see Him work through us to bring glory and honor to Him.This is truly a season of change. Let’s trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not to our own understanding. But in all of our ways, let’s trust in Him and let Him show us the right path. Let’s strive to make this a season of change that will bring glory, honor, and majesty to Jesus Christ. God bless you all! ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~

TTWN will be holding a garage sale for Mission Outreach in South East Asia. The mission field has grown from a basketball court in Santa, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, to all over Southeast Asia. This spring there is a planned trip in May to assist with VBS for new church plants in Northern Luzon. Your generosity in the past has helped spread God’s love in real and practical ways. We plan to collect items the week of the Garage Sale. So, if you find yourself ready to do a spring cleaning and wish to donate items to the mission field,. We are so very thankful. God Bless! Waiale Elua(the affordable housing project just below us) is currently establishing a qualified applicant list. Applications need to be submitted by 4:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2019. This is a project intended for 1st time buyers whose annual household incomes are between $65,120 and $113,960. The homes are being projected to

We continue to see a ton of new faces walk through our doors each week, but things are growing so fast (in our kids program in par-ticular) that we feel a constant need for more people to serve on a team. Please pray that people feel called and respond to serving. We are also making plans to go to two services, which will require even more volunteers. * Deaf Peoples-Some workers will be arriving in East Asia to serve among the Deaf there: Polly Jorgen* will arrive this month, and Willie and Bascom Brown* will arrive in early spring. While Polly is returning to begin a new term of service in the same location, Willie and Bascom are transferring from West Africa. Please pray for Polly, Willie, and Bascom as they make final prepa-rations for their travel and new work. Lift them up as they transition to life in East Asia. Praise God for the local Deaf team they will be joining there and for the work that the Father is already doing among the Deaf of East Asia. Pray for new friendships and for many opportunities to share God’s stories. Ask that the Deaf of East Asia will see his stories, hearts will turn to him, and believing Deaf will boldly share the Good News with other Deaf. (*names changed)*Mebo of Laos-(MEE-boh) - Two months ago, you were asked to lift up a group of believers in the south who took a bold stand when soldiers tried to stop them from meeting. Although this fellowship is still gather-ing every Sunday to worship together, they have experi-enced more pressure, this time from local police. Please pray that they will continue to share the gospel fear-lessly. Also pray that they will know the hope that only the Father can give, that they will be strengthened by the Spirit, and that they will remember how much the Father loves them.
