Mrs. Richardson would know all of the new updates on the new school coming up. I think we all should be excited for this event! We decided to interview Mrs. Richardson about it. She was happy to answer so we sat down and talked.

Q: Will the eighth graders

have lockers? A: Yes, everyone will have lockers. Q: Where will the cafeteria and gym be located? A: In the same place, but the gym will have a new floor and

bleachers. The cafeteria will also be redone. Q: How long will it take for the new school to be built? A: The renovations will be completed in three phases. The first

phase will be completed in January 2012. The second phase will be completed in August 2012. The third phase will be completed in March 2013.

Q: Will we have smart boards? A: Each classroom will be equipped with the 21st Century

Technology Solution, like the carts in the CTE (Davis, Edwards, Morrison, and Tuttle) classes.

Q: How big will the classrooms be? A: They will meet state code which is larger than the 6th grade

classrooms. Q: Will there be more technology for students throughout the

school? A: Yes, along with the new technology in each classroom, there will

be a new computer lab. Q: What changes are you excited for in the new school? A: All of it, but most of all NO TRAILERS! Q: Where will the eighth grade, seventh grade, and sixth grade halls

be located? A: The eighth grade will be where the seventh grade is now. The

sixth and seventh grades will be in the new wing.

New Year’s Resolutions People Make ����Be nicer I think this is a crazy thing to try to fix because you can’t just up and fix meanness all of a sudden. Some people try to be nice and they just…can’t! Other people, however, actually accomplish their goals, but others can hold off being mean for a while and the madness builds up and then like dynamite…BOOM! They get really mad and end up yelling off-the-wall mean things. Crazy idea.
