African youth nurses as novice nurses and
students together can play important active
role and support in achieving African progress
specially Africa agenda 2063.
Africa is the world's second largest and se-cond most-populous continent ,The Health of the People is the first report to fo-cus on the health of the 738 million people living in the African Re-gion of the World Health Organiza-tion. While ac-knowledging that Africa confronts the world's most dramatic public health crisis, the report offers hope that over time the re-gion can address the health challenges it fac-es, given sufficient international support. Nursing is a profession within the health
care sector focused on the care of individuals,
families, and communities so they may attain,

African youth nursing roles
Africa Agenda 2063 It is a strategic framework for the socio-economic transformation of the continent over the next 50 years. Its builds on, and seeks to accelerate the implementa-tion of past and existing continental initiatives for growth and sustainable development.
Some of the past and current initiatives it builds on include: the Lagos Plan of Action, The Abuja Treaty, The Minimum Integration Programme, the Programme for Infrastructural Development in Africa (PIDA), the Comprehensive Africa Agricultural Development Programme (CAADP), The New partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD), Regional Plans and Programmes and National Plans. It is also built on national, regional, continental best practices in its formula-tion.
The guiding vision for Agenda 2063 is the AU Vision of “
An integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its
own citizens and representing a dynamic force in interna-
tional arena”
The seven African Aspirations were derived through a con-sultative process with the African Citizenry. These are:
• A Prosperous Africa, based on inclusive growth and sus-tainable development • An integrated continent, politically united, based on the ideals of Pan Africanism and the vision of Africa’s Renais-sance • An Africa of good governance, democracy, respect for hu-man rights, justice and the rule of law • A Peaceful and Secure Africa • Africa with a strong cultural identity, common heritage, val-ues and ethics
• An Africa whose development is people driv-en, relying on the potential offered by people, especially its women and youth and caring for children • An Africa as a strong, united, resilient and in-fluential global player and partner

World AIDS Day in 1st Dec
World AIDS Day takes place on the 1st December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. AIDS is not a virus but a set of symptoms (or syndrome) caused by the HIV virus. A person is said to have AIDS when their immune system is too weak to fight off in- fection, and they devel-op certain defining symp- toms and illnesses. This is the last stage of HIV, when the infection is very advanced, and if left untreated will lead to death. Basic facts about AIDS AIDS stands for ac- quired immune defi-ciency syndrome.
AIDS is also referred to as advanced HIV infection or late-stage HIV.
AIDS is a set of symptoms and illnesses that develop as a result of advanced HIV infection which has destroyed the immune system.

against FGM
There is no doubt that the better future of African
health needs more efforts, and the nursing profes-
sion carries a noble, purposive message to face the
wrong health habits inherent in
society, as it has a great impact
on health care system, so we
have to think and work hand in
hand together as African novice
nurses and students leaders to
make our African dream come
true. - One of these severely
wrong inherent health habits is
FGM " Female Genital Mutila-
tion ". -Female genital mutila-
tion FGM is a human rights violation, torture and an
extreme form of violence and discrimination against
girls and women its involves removing and damag-
ing external female genitalia for nonmedical reasons
-This procedure has lived in Africa for decades and is
still spreading in and out like a virus under cover of
social, traditional and religion justification in absent
of fact and truth element even behind FGM existenc-
es in the first place .
-The harmful practice of female genital mutilation
(FGM), the cutting of the female genital organs for
ritual rites dating back to pre-biblical times, is being
currently practiced dominantly in the whole 52 Afri-
can countries, parts of the Middle East, pocket areas
in other parts of the world and among immigrant
population in the developed world. -
It is estimated that over 200 million infants and girl chil-
dren are annually mutilated in the name of tradition and
religious requirements. -This practice is detrimental to
the health and wellbeing of women
and girl-children. -At the interna-
tional, regional and local levels vari-
ous activities are being undertaken
to address the issue as well as to
prevent and eliminate it. -There
remains a lot to be done to identify
the root causes and justifications to
devise appropriate.
