Volume 1, Issue 1 January • 2007 A monthly newsletter for Pleading Paws Pet Rescue Former Pleading Paws Pet Rescue President resigns I want to thank all fosters, supporters and volunteers who were involved in PPPR during my 4 years as President. We saved 800 animals and YOU made that possible with all your hard work and I can never say thank-you enough for making my dream come true! As for other dreams of mine, I will be continuing in the animal field as my intentions are to work and train as a puppy trainer at Elk River K9 Obedience Training Center. Sasha (my King Charles Cavalier) has decided that agility can be done for fun only, but she would rather compete in obedience, so we are going to start with Rally to help with "Mom's" confidence in the ring and then move on to the stricter obedience. I want to continue therapy work with Sasha and KoKo (my two TDI certified dogs), keep attending classes and seminars on animal behaviors and go on more trail rides with whosever horse will let me! There is even a possibility of attending classes at the new Blaine location for the Minnesota School of Business! So many things I would like to do but so little time! Of course, fostering is still in there sometimes!
