An analogy behind SALES – the secret art of Selling

A journey into the unknown

By Sasha Pete

Page 2: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Why now

• This knowledge has been available for centuries and I was fortunate to come across it and have been using it in my own life

• If you too want the knowledge all you have to do is ask!

Page 3: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Albert Einstein

• “Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance”

• Please keep an open mind when reading this

Page 4: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You are walking down a street and see a recipe on paper. You normally wouldn’t pick up any papers on the street but you can see the word RECIEPE in big on the piece of paper and it is your turn to cook dinner and you run to pick up the paper because you are intrigued.

Page 5: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You grab the piece of paper and the recipe is not for a meal – but it seems to be an ancient formula on how to cure CANCER. At first you don’t believe it – but a dear family member is dying of cancer and the doctors have given up hope.

Page 6: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• There is something inside you that compels you to take the recipe home. You were walking to work but something inside you says “go home now”. You go home and immediately start following the recipe on how to cure cancer as you want your family member to live…

Page 7: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• It doesn’t take you a long time to follow the formula of the reciepe… A few minutes actually. It was like being LOST in a dark room trying to search for the light switch – when you find the switch the light turned on instantly

Page 8: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You think to yourself – this can not be that simple. A cure for cancer that takes only a few minutes. But the voice inside you motions you to drive to your family members house and give them your naturally made recipe.

Page 9: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You have nothing to lose – your family member is almost dead anyway. You convince them to take the medicine – it tastes sweet they say. You give them enough to last a few days. You tell them to take the medicine every 2 hours

Page 10: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• After one week they start to look better in the face and become more active.

• After a month they are going out with the family on outings

• There is a new found energy to them and they start to enjoy life almost better than when they first were diagnosed with the cancer.

Page 11: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• After three months – the doctors don’t believe how they are getting better – the sickness seems to be reciding and they are surprised that the patient is still alive. You don’t tell anyone what is happening and you made your family member swear to keep your secret.

Page 12: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• After six months – your family member is cured. NO SIGN OF THE CANCER.

• There is total disbelief.

Page 13: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• What the doctors don’t know that you have also been giving this medicine to friends and friends of friends who also have the DIS-EASE.

• And they are experiencing the same positive results.

Page 14: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You try to explain to your wife first what is happening (whom until known is none the wiser) but being a scientist she shrugs you away. But you ask her to speak with your family member and they confirm the positive results of the medicine from the recipe of the paper

Page 15: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• She then starts to believe you – not fully but the voice inside her compels her to keep an open mind as well…

Page 16: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• She speaks with all the other people whom you shared the recipe with – whom were also sworn to secrecy… and sees how they too have come back from the brink of death…

Page 17: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You try to tell your closet friends but they meet you with the same scepticism that your wife first had…

• You go through the steps with each new person of how you found the recipe on the ground walking to walk and then made it in a few minutes and gave it to loved ones and now they are cured.

Page 18: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• They each admit their reservations in belief – they explain that their mind can not believe how such a thing could happen. That it was too weird and freaky to occur.

• You agree but no longer question such things

Page 19: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You know in your heart that you have found the CURE to CANCER from walking to work and found a piece of paper.

• Six months has passed and numerous friends and family have been saved

Page 20: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• Tell me – if this happened to you

• WOULDN’T YOU WANT TO TELL THE WHOLE WORLD

Page 21: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment• You saw the same piece of paper but

did not pick it up.• Imagine you just walked by• Many thousands of people would have

walked passed that same piece of paper – oblivious to it because they are consumed in their day

• Like Keanu Reeves being plugged into the MATRIX

Page 22: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• This is just a story

• I did not find the cure for cancer – I wish I did – however the knowledge behind SALES – the secret art of selling was revealed to me in a similar way.

Page 23: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I was a salesperson – still am

• I was on top of my game… number one in my team – signing massive deals, big house, nice car, 5 star overseas holidays every year, massive debt and then suddenly

Page 24: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• It all came crashing down

• Not just the work but my whole life.

• At the start - I found it difficult to even breathe.

Page 25: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• Then there were times that I couldn’t even play with my children. My wife said many times that she had lost her husband and that her kids lost a father.

Page 26: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I was popping pills to go to sleep.• Pills to awake• Pills to stay sedate• Visiting Quacks on a weekly basis • There were times that I could not hold

my insides in when work would call me to find out how I was doing

Page 27: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• Needless to say – in my state most of my colleagues wanted little to do with me. Some would call at the start – curious to know what was going on…

• Once their curiosity was appeased they stopped calling

Page 28: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I had little left• No job• No friendly company of my work friends• No reputation• It was like I was sent from Mother

England to Australia for stealing a loaf of bread. My life now was to be one of a convict.

Page 29: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• What I did have however was TIME.

• And plenty of it.

• And I started to read…

Page 30: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I read religious books like the • Holy Bible• The Koran• The TAO DE CHING• The Bhagavad Gītā

Page 31: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I read motivational books

• I read sales books

• But after going to see a tarot card reader (that’s how desperate I got to make sence of my life) she finished the reading and said have you read the book ASK AND IT IS GIVEN – by Gerry and Ester Hicks – it is my Bible

Page 32: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I came home and starting to read it

• It was amazing the words came flying off the page – I have never read a book that moved me so much

Page 33: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• And from there my life changed.

• I was able to breathe• I stopped taking the pills and seeing the

quacks• My wife regained her husband and my children

a father• It was like I had returned from death – not in a

physical sense but definitely in an emotional and spiritual sense

• I started to DREAM

Page 34: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I gave up my many years of being a stanch ATHEIST and found my Creator

• That is when I started to connect all the dots. It was like the dots were always there but now I could see the numbers and I could connect them easily now

Page 35: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• It was like I was in a dark room living my life and now I had turned on the light switch

Page 36: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• I had realised that I had been playing soccer with a blindfold on. Not knowing where the goals were. Sometimes I would kick the ball in the crowd and they cheered because I assumed them. Often I would kick the ball into my own net – thinking I was scoring but I was only scoring own goals.

Page 37: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• Now I have taken the blind fold off.

• If you want to take the blind fold off – you don’t need to wait for a near death experience or emotionally die like I did.

Page 38: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• All you have to do is read what I say.

• NOW I DON’T WANT YOU TO BELIEVE ME ON FACE VALUE

Page 39: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• In actual fact – I would rather you didn’t believe me. I know when I was operating in the rat race – I didn’t have time to read a power point let alone believe it.

• However if you have read every page and are still here it is because it is for a REASON

Page 40: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• You may not realise it now

• But everything happens for a reason

• EVERYTHING

Page 41: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• In every BAD there is essence of GOOD

• In every GOOD an element of BAD

• It depends how you look at it

Page 42: A modern recipe to an ancient story

Imagine for a moment

• “When the student is ready the teacher will appear”• Ancient Buddhist Proverb
