audience– Utilize use cases to prioritize audiences and goals – Define UI emphases – Modify UI to match audience needs– Obtain UI feedback
• Some suggestions (long term)
– Emphasize user experience and content over technology
– Develop mechanism for ongoing user feedback
– Be careful to not make early design choices that constrain evolution, given the pace of technology
– Organize the team by front end and back end
• Some suggestions (for Nov)
– Simplify the landing page: Pick one likely audience and design an efficient home page to serve them
– Emphasize user experience and content over technology
– Possibly use Dan’s TECH website and approach (use of moderators) as a model for community building
– Be careful to not set expectations about tools and interfaces that might not get through the user analysis
Next steps

• Map the demonstrated tools and content to the stated goals
