A message from theclub’s PresidentHello and Welcome,
I hope all fellow Warriors and your families areenjoying the festivities at this time of year.
We are now half way through the season and Iwant to congratulate both teams in theirperformances so far, the coaching, teammanagers and supporters, again you guys areevery bit of this success to date.
I’m equally grateful and motivated by the spirit ofeveryone in the club. The incredible hard workthat is happening in the background, to elevatethe standards for the club in every area isextremely encouraging and can only lead to aneven more successful year ahead.
As 2019 draws to a close, it’s hard to believe wehosted the largest most successful Union Cup, Iwould like to thank everyone who was involved,from the bid process in 2017 right the waythrough to the wrap up. We have set a newbench mark for how IGR tournaments goforward.
May I take this opportunity to wish you and yourfamilies a very happy and peaceful Christmas. Avery prosperous New Year to all and continuedsuccess both on and off the pitch in 2020.

EWRFC Open Day4th January, 2020
We are fast approaching our first recruitmentdrive of 2020. This is a hugely important event inour club calendar as we welcome potential newmembers or returning members to EmeraldWarriors RFC. A public event has been createdon Facebook (link below), and it would be greatto see a large turnout at this event. Share widelywith friends and family. Details are as below:
Date: 4th January, 2020Time: 10am - 12 noonVenue: St. Mary's RFC
The Open Day will be a fun, welcoming and lowimpact event to provide a taster of the basic skillsof rugby. A fun training session will be arrangedwith coaches and club captains to suit thecomplete beginner to rugby. We invite allmembers to attend the Open Day to network andkick off the 2020 rugby season.
Our Foodies group have also been arranged tosupply some delicious bites for after the OpenDay. If you would like to get involved, please getin contact with Murf.

Dreaming of a WhiteChristmas
The Snow has settled and we’ve put a bit of colourback in our wardrobe. We would just like to say thankyou to everyone who turned up and especially thosewho turned out those outfits!!! You are all beautifuland it was a pleasure celebrating an incredible 2019!

Bingham Cup: FlightsWinner
The Your Club, Your Countrydraw took place at theChristmas party on Saturday7th December, 2019. Allticket sellers who sold morethan 18 tickets were enteredto The club’s own draw forcomplimentary flights toBingham 2020. The finalcount for the draw was 22members who were entereda total of 34 times.

A communication regarding Bingham Cup, Ottawa2020 was sent to all members on Friday, 20thDecember, 2019. The communication outlines thelatest update regarding registration fees.
The registration fee for players now stands at €200or €190 for coaches and supporters.
Due dates for all deposits to be paid into the EWRFCbank account has been extended until 28thFebruary, 2019.
All Bingham Cup, Ottawa 2020 deposits arerequested to be paid in full, into the EWRFC clubbank account by this date. Please pay via oneinstallment referencing your name and 'Bingham CupDeposit' in the subject line.

Hadrian Cup, 2020Early Bird registrations for Hadrian Cup, 2020 areopen and will remain open until 31st December,2019.
Registration includes the Friday night registrationevent in town, welcome package, Saturday all-daytournament, Saturday lunch, Saturday night party intown and Kangaroo court event on Sunday morning.

All interested members wishing to travel toHadrian Cup are advised to complete theirregistration individually. Once registrations havebeen completed, a separate WhatsApp group willbe set up for further travelling details to beconfirmed.
