Dear Fellow Chamber Members,
Happy New Year! I don’t know about you, but it sure seems like 2016 just flew by.
I am now starting my fourth month as your Chairman of the Board. What a great Chamber we have! Our Chamber is so well respected in the Houston area. I am blessed to be a part of this great organization. Of course this could not happen without you, our members, Board, and Chamber staff. It is a pleasure to work with all of you!
Hopefully you got a chance to attend the Christmas Boat Parade. It was a lot of fun and had a great turnout. Thanks to the sponsors and the Boat Parade Committee. We can always count on Jim Christensen to lead this great event for the Chamber.
Our Christmas open house was well attended last month and my wife, Colene and I enjoyed visiting and greeting the crowd.
So what is coming up? Epicurean Evening is the evening of February 9th. Be sure to get that on your calendar. It is always a fun evening and provides you a chance to mingle with other Chamber members and sample some of the regions delicious foods.
Let’s make our Chamber even better in 2017. Remember our new mission and vision for the Chamber – “Champions For Business Success and Quality of Life In Our Community”. That is really what we are all about. See you at a Chamber function.
