• A Passport to Mental Health in Mining and Resources booklet for every employee

• Onboarding handbook for new employees

•Postersandflyerspromotingkeymentalhealthmessages

• Dedicated RRMH Program Manager providing on-going support toyourmanagementteam,WHSstaffandpresenters

• Survey and evaluation of the Program’s outcomes.

Resource Minds program participants will: • Increase their awareness of mental health issues and reduce stigma

• Improve their understanding of mental ill-health, including suicide prevention

• Make the connection between mental health and physical safety

• Develop strategies to help prevent mental ill-health in themselves, their family, friends and workmates

• Be directed to pathways to help.

Mental Health for Leaders training Smartbusinessleaderscaninfluencetheirworkplace culture by implementing and driving policies and practices that promote positive mental health.

While included in the Resource Minds program, Mental Health for Leaders can also be undertaken as a stand-alone workshop.

Mental Health for Leaders is an invaluable opportunity to:

• Build knowledge, understanding and literacy around mental health and suicide prevention in mining and resources workplaces.

• Increase the awareness of leaders of the risks to mental health and implementation of control measures.

• Provide leaders with practical advice when respondingto,andfollowingasignificant incident that is likely to impact on the mental health and emotional wellbeing of their workforce.

• Alert leaders to gaps in mental health within existing operational incident response procedures to ensure the company meets all relevant legislative requirements

• Assist leaders create a supportive and positive culture towards mental health, reducing stigma and maintaining a mentally healthy workplace.

The 6 hour training can be delivered onsite over 1 or 2 days, or alternatively in your metropolitanoffice.Each participant is provided with a handbook for future reference.
