EXT. GRAVEYARD - DAY

We open the scene at a graveyard.

JERRYRight there, you see that emptyspot? [pointing at an empty graveyard] Right there? That emptygraveyard is the spot that I pickedout where I will be buried when mytime comes. Its all bought.

Amanda is looking at Jerry with dirty expressions, like WHATTHE FUCK, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

AMANDAJesus, this is why you brought mehere. I thought we were seeingsomeones grave.

JERRYWe are. Were seeing mine.

AMANDA[sighs] And why did you buy agraveyard spot, youre not dying,are you?

JERRYNo, Im not dying. But life isfragile. Anyone of us could drop ina heart beat. I wanna make sure Ihave a spot picked out that I like.

AMANDAJesus, it doesnt really materwhere your buried, Jerry. Does it?Its not like your gonna be awarewhere you are when your dead.

JERRYIsnt it sad to think that this iswhere well all end up when the bigpicture is over, isnt it?

JERRYYou see theres an empty spot rightnear mine. [points to it] I washoping that maybe you would beburied next to me?

Amanda tries to drift away, but Jerry stops her.

AMANDAI dont know, Jerry. This is tooweird. I dont wanna be thinkingabout this stuff. Im too young.

JERRYYoure never to young to die.

AMANDAAlright, stop it! Just cut it out!I wanna go home. Take us back now,please. Im tired of hearing aboutthis death stuff.

JERRYAlright, fine. Lets go.

They start walking back to their car.

AMANDAAre you fighting some demon insideyou or what? like somethings gotteninto you, Ive noticed death hasbeen a number one subject for youlately. Do I need to form aexorcism on you?

JERRY[laughs] No, it just occurred to merecently that life is very short

and fragile.

Jerry is performing his stand up routine. He picks outcertain audience members and makes fun of them.

The entire scene will be improvised by the actor and theextras.

Once the comedian is done with his set he goes over to thebar to have a drink.

BARTENDERHey, Jerry. That was a nice set

tonight, weve missed you here.

JERRYThank you, yeah Ive been going tobigger venues lately, getting anice small check. I still missperforming here though. Thats whyI set this little open mic tonight.

BARTENDERReally? Well good for you, youdeserve to start breaking into thebusiness. Youve been performinghere for a few years now, its niceto see your breaking out.

JERRYYeah, Im not quite there just yet,still looking for my big break.

BARTENDERWell You seem to be doing betterfor yourself, so thats good.

JERRY

Yeah, I am. Im grateful for thesmall success that Ive gotten. Imone small step away from making it.

A man across from Jerry is staring at him, he gets up andsits next to him.

you performed here in the past.Its great to finally meet you.

JERRYOh, well thank you. Its nice tosee some old fans still comingaround. You know I think I doremember you.

The bartender comes over with a mug filled with beer. Shehands him the mug. Jerry takes a few sips.

The bartender looks over to Hank.

BARTENDERHank, youre all set, right?

HANK JOHNSONYeah, Im fine. Im still trying tostay sober.

BARTENDERJust call me over when you wantsomething.

The bartender walks away doing whatever is needed.

HANK JOHNSONSo, Jerry?

JERRYYeah?

HANK JOHNSONI gotta ask you something.

JERRYYeah, whats up, buddy?

HANK JOHNSONHow do you do it?

JERRYWhat, stand up?

HANK JOHNSONYeah, but not just having thecourage to stand up in front of acrowd of people and speak. You see,what really enthralls me is thatyou insult a crowd full of peoplestraight to their faces without

feeling bad. Now what I wanna knowis how do you get the courage toactually insult everyone in the

AMANDAJerry, we talked about this. Nowthat weve been broken up, I would

really appreciate it if you wouldbutt out and stop trying to controlme.

He stands in front of the bar and takes out a pack of cigarsand smokes.

As they walk out of the cameras view, the camera zooms intothe bar and we see Hank sitting at the bar starring at thetwo with a beer in his hand.

INT. JERRYS APARTMENT - NIGHT

Jerry and Amanda walk down the stairs, Amanda goes straightfor the chair and sits at a round table and turns on the TV.

Jerry looks for the beer in the fridge.

AMANDAHey, did you leave the lights onwhen you went out? Or is your

brother here somewhere?

JERRYNo, I dont think so.

AMANDA

Hmm thats kinda odd.

AMANDAYour brother always comes by atnight to vent out, maybe he found awomen for the night. [chuckles]

JERRYHm, maybe.

AMANDABut you know were lucky we dontpay for the electric. Otherwise Idkick your ass for keeping thelights on.

JERRY[smiling] I know...[searchingfridge] I cant seem to find it. Iswear I left a few stored.

AMANDAIts okay, I can go by one nightwithout a beer.

JERRY[laughs] It that some kind of joke?

AMANDA[sarcastically] HA Ha. Look itsfine. I dont need one.

JERRY[sarcastically] Yeah. Right.

Amanda turns the TV on and notices a beer right in front ofit.

AMANDALook at the TV.

Jerry walks over and notices the beer. He sighs then grabsit, walks over to the fridge, he opens the freezer and takesout a mug and pours her a glass and hands it to her.

He sits down across from her at the round table.

AMANDASo other than that one guybothering you, how did your act go?

JERRYIt went great. I had a ton oflaughs and no one took offense tomy jokes. It was a good crowd.

AMANDAThats good. Im really sorry thatI didnt make it tonight. I wasseriously trying to make it.

JERRYIts fine.

AMANDAI just want you to know that Iwanted to make it, I didnt mean tomake it seem like I didnt wannago. I Was just worried about themeeting, that was all.

JERRYWell if you wanna feel bad, feelbad about dumping me.

Suddenly there is a huge banging on the door. This startlesthe two.

AMANDAJesus Christ! Go see who that is.

Jerry gets up and walks up the stairs to see who is outthere. He opens the door and no one is there. Then he sees ashadow figure running away. He couldnt make out who it was.

He walks back downstairs.

AMANDAIt was that angry guy from the bar,wasnt it?

JERRYI dont know.

AMANDAYou do know.

JERRYAmanda, I dont know. If I did, Iwould tell you.

AMANDAYoure telling me you didnt get alook at who was out there?

JERRYAre you serious? Its dark out, howam I gonna get a good look atwhoever was out there, huh?

He was inside, he didnt see us.Dont get so worked up about it.

CONTINUED: 14.

JERRY

No, but worry about it. Hes notgonna do anything.

AMANDA[whispering] Shut up, turn the TVoff.

JERRYWhy?

AMANDATurn the TV off! I thought I heardfoot steps.

Jerry turns the TV off, we hear the rocks on the ground onthe side of the house crunching from someones footsteps.

Suddenly the side door is being banged on. Jeff runs to thedoor, he opens it and we see a man in a suit wearing a pigsmask standing there. The man in the mask is holding a malletor some sort of weapon and hits Jeff. Jeff tries to fightback. They fight it out to the death. Hank kills Jeff.

Then he walks over to the shocked Amanda. Shes so shockedshes speechless, she just stands there.

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET - ON THE ROAD DRIVING

The camera zooms out from the road into the trucks POV,revealing that Hank is the driver, then as it continueszooming out it reveals Amanda and Jerry are tied up in theback of the truck.

INT. MYSTERIOUS PLACE

Amanda is TIED UP in a UNKNOWN MYSTERIOUS eerie place, shewakes up and sees a pale brunette women far in thebackground. The lady is blurred a bit, the blurry image ofthe women walks slowly toward AMANDA.

TShe begins freaking out.

AMANDAWho are you! What do you want![repeats this a few times each timeshe gets closer]

CONTINUED: 15.

As the women gets closer, the women is replaced by Hank

Johnson.

HANK JOHNSONNow follow me.

She does as he says with no problem, she follows him aroundthis EERIE mysterious PLACE.

We finally stop as we reach a specific room in the house.

In this EERIE ROOM, you will see the DEAD BODIES of Jerryand Stan lying in a pile together.

CUT TO:

INT. MANS BEDROOM - EARLIER THAT DAY

We see a man on his knees, kneeling by his bed side, prayingto god out loud. He has done terrible things and wants godto forgive him. We dont know what the terrible things thisman has done, but it has been haunting him for some time andwants peace in his life. He Is Jerrys Brother.

JOHNNYHail Mary, full of grace. Our lordis with thee. Blessed is the fruitof thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary,Mother of God, pray for us sinners,now and at the hour of our death.Amen. Please, God. Forgive me formy sins.

The man is interrupted by a knock on his door. He gets upand answers the door.

INT. MANS FRONT DOOR - DAY

A strange man is standing and waiting at the front door.

The man opens the door.

HANK JOHNSONHi, would you happen to be JohnnyLang?

JOHNNYYeah, thats me. What can I do foryou?

HANK JOHNSONWell heres the thing, I was justgoing for a walk around theneighborhood and I came across thispackage lying on the street, Ilooked around and saw your initialsJL on your mailbox and on thepackage you see here, [points toit] it has your name. I just wantedto make sure this was brought tothe rightful owner.

JOHNNYOh, yeah, thats me. Well thank youfor being so conservative.

HANK JOHNSONOh, well its my pleasure inhelping others.

JOHNNYWell, if thats all, I reallyappreciate you bringing me mypackage.

HANK JOHNSONUh, actually there is one thing.

Johnny is a bit annoyed cause he wants to get inside to getready to hang out with a few friends for his birthday.

But since this gentlemen was so kind, he humors him for afew minutes.

Of course not, I never knew them, Ilived with my grandma since day onecause my parents died in a carcrash, so I lived with my grandmatill she died when I was about two.

Now Johnny is pretty annoyed and wants to get inside.

As Hank walks off he quickly turns around and shouts.

I dont have muchfriends in this world you see, Isuffer from social anxiety and Itwould mean a lot to get out of thebar for a night and hang with youand your friends. John walks over to the door. He is wearing a black suitjacket and pants, with a white dress shirt underneath. He isneatly groomed.

He opens the door. Its his friend Stan. They head into theliving room. Johnny hands him a beer and they both drink.

Stans phone suddenly starts ringing, its Michelle.

Suddenly Hank Johnson opens the screen door and walks in.You can see that he is wearing the suit that he wears thenext night me murders Jeff.

He sees the pig mask hanging on the wall, then he looks atStan and John.

HANK JOHNSONWell, well, well. Who do we havehere? This gentlemen wouldnthappen to be the owner of the carparked out front, now would he?

JOHNNYHank, what are you doing?

HANK JOHNSONYou see I wanted to trust my newfriend, but you know, I got thevibe that my new friend here waslying to me. I just had to come inand see for myself that my newfriend wouldnt be lying to me. Nowthat I see my new friend has liedto me, Im not sure how I feelabout all this.

JOHNNYHank, Im not sure where this isgoing, but I want you to leave myhouse immediately.

Hank begins walking slowly toward the two. He picks up anearby weapon and stares at the pigs mask for a moment. Hetakes it and puts it on. He continues walking toward them.

JOHNNY

Hank, what are you doing, buddy?

HANK JOHNSON

Im not your buddy.

He continues walking towards them, then he takes hisattention to Stan. He attacks him and kills him. Then hegoes after Johnny, he doesnt kill him, he knocks him out.

He gets his truck and pulls it over to the front of the

house, he carries the bodies and puts them in the back ofthe truck then drives off.

CUT TO:

INT. MYSTERIOUS PLACE - BACK TO PRESENT TIME

Hank has AMANDA stop walking and tells HER to SIT down in achair, in the middle of the room.

HANK JOHNSONWhy dont you go on over and sit inthat chair over there that I gotfor you.

(Pause)Now I got a question for you.

(Pause)What do you think happens when youdie?

AMANDA SITS there with her HEAD DOWN. Shes too EMOTIONAL toANSWER.

HANK JOHNSONGod dammit! I asked you a question!

AMANDA keeps her head down.

EXT. GRAVEYARD - NIGHT

We are at a graveyard, it might be the same one from thebeginning of the film or it might not me. We dont know.

Hanks truck pulls up, he gets out and walks over to theother side of the truck, he opens the door and makes Amandacome out. He has her drag the bodies into a hole that Hankmust of dug the night before.

She strugles to place the bodies into the hole, buteventually does. Then he has her fill it up.

Once she is finished, Hank has her walk to a empty hole, hetells her to stand in front of it, she does and begins to

cry as she stares into that hole knowing she will be shotdead.

Then Hank takes out a pistol and shoots her in the head, herbody falls into the ground.

CUT TO:

INT. INSIDE THE GRAVEYARD - NIGHT

We see a point of view of being six feet under. We see Hankthrowing dirt with his shovel into the hole. We see thisgoing on for a few moments, longer than one would suspectfor this to go on. Then the credits show up, as the creditsscroll down, we can hear the dirt being thrown into hergrave.
