Fall 2019 Let our talented team assist you with your flooring project! FREE in-home/office consultations. Apple Harvest Sale September 21 through October 19 This year marks CBL Floor’s fortieth year in business. It’s been a long, interesting, and enjoyable ride, that’s for sure. Back when it all started in 1979, we were located at 458 S. Robert St. in St. Paul – right where Ertel’s Drug Store stood. That was our home for 33 years. Frank would sell by day and install by night with his brother, Mike. As time went on, we added installers and rented a warehouse to store our carpet and pad. Frank’s oldest brother, Al, joined the sales force for 13 years and retired in 2004. In 2004, we transitioned the company name from Carpets by Lindsey to CBL Floors (Creating Beautiful Living). We then moved our store to 1061 S. Robert St. in WSP for 4 years. We were fortunate to have Sherrill Patnode and Jeff Youngquist work 21 years with us. In 2015 we moved to 5456 S. Robert Trail in Inver Grove Heights, our present location. I think it’s safe to say we are done moving. We love the accessibility this location offers our customers and the size of our showroom is just right. The love of providing quality flooring and exceptional service is something that spans generations in the Hanzal family. Frank’s father was in the flooring business as an installer many moons ago. Additionally, our son, Brandon, also has a flooring business called, Buck’s Flooring. What an opportunity to have served our community “Creating Beautiful Living” for so many years. We have been blessed! A Look into CBL Floors Future As CBL approaches its 40th year in business our future looks excit- ing and a bit different. Personally, Diane and I are looking forward to enjoying even more time with our 8 grandchildren, our children and their spouses. On the business side we have decided that in June of 2020 we will not re-up our lease for another five years. Our studio showroom will move on to a virtual showroom. Over the next months we will prepare and test how inquires will be received. Customer interaction with our staff or website will help Diane and I to discover your flooring needs. Home visits will be our model to present and help you make your flooring decisions easier. What we do now in our showroom with our “customer information sheet”, we will do prior to our visit by phone or your web site interaction, with a follow up call from Diane or myself. In- home consultations will be customized to your schedule. Selections will be narrowed to your preferences and brought to you. Others have tried and some have limited success with a virtual showroom. The unique business advantage CBL Floors has is 40 years of “Creating Beautiful Living” experience, our great staff, and installation teams. Sincerely, Diane & Frank Stainmaster ® Livewell™ Carpet: Get Help Fighting Dust And Allergens Nylon vs Polyester Carpeting Whether you choose a nylon carpet or a polyester carpet, both have positive attributes. Polyester carpet will be, for the most part, less expensive than nylon. Polyester carpet may be more forgiving in the stain department due to the stain protection that is a built-in part of the fiber (solution dye). There are some nylon carpets that are stain forgiving as well, but we will give polyester carpet the slight advantage in stain resistance. When it comes to the performance of a carpet, durability is the #1 con- cern for most homeowners. The winner, by historical track record, is nylon. It is considered the most durable carpet fiber available. SmartStrand has the stain resistance of polyester and the claim of durability of nylon, all in one. SmartStrand is only found in Mohawk carpeting. SmartStrand is the most luxurious fiber to the senses. These are just a few examples of the differences between the two fabrics. You may still want to consider which is softer…polyester! And, what’s best for allergies…it’s a tie! We suggest stopping by the CBL showroom. giving us a call or visiting www.cblfloors.com. We are here to answer any questions you may have regarding your flooring needs. Creating Beautiful Living That’s the CBL Difference CBL Floors
