A Letter From Michael AttardoDear Reps,

A new year has begun and I feel very excited about what this year will bring. We look expectantly at our America’s Drug Card program and expect good growth. Continuing with our CHANGE, we have now contracted

new growth; our business is much the same. With your help, we will also be looking to grow our number one asset, our excellent Rep force. Hopefully the new recruiting incentives will be an incentive to you all.

Last year I had the pleasure of meeting so many of you and building our relationships; this will not stop. I will continue to be out in the fi eld as much as possible and I am always available to you to hear your concerns and your ideas.

There is much work to be done, so let’s roll up our sleeves and get to it!

Thank you for your efforts.

Frank’s Tips and Trends

It’s the beginning of 2015 and I’m very excited about the entire rep force of the America’s Drug Card program. One of the most important aspects of your business that you can focus on immediately and become an expert at is the art of referrals. Whether you are out in the fi eld or prospecting by telephone, you should always

ask the question “Who else do you know in your area of specialty that can benefi t from this wonderful card program?”

When is the best time to ask for a referral? The fi rst time you visit a medical offi ce or social services agency or once you’ve established a relationship? In my experience, I’ve found any time to be the best time as long as you are sincere in your request.

There is nothing more powerful than when you visit a social services agency and the social worker calls ahead to another agency that is not even on your radar, to recommend your program to them. Or, when you are on the telephone getting an order from an offi ce manager of a health clinic and you receive a list of 18 additional medical offi ces with contact names just because you asked for a referral. Always ask the person making the referral if they are comfortable if you use their name. Your credibility goes through the roof when this scenario is set in motion!

Research shows that it takes 21 consecutive days to form a habit; I challenge you to ask for referrals every day for three weeks. As you put your plan in motion, be sure to set consistent and achievable goals as to how many referrals you will generate on a weekly/monthly basis.

The key to building a strong referral marketing program is to always provide outstanding customer service in your card business. You’ve heard the saying, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” Treating your customers like you would want to be treated will ensure that they are pleased and will want to recommend your services to others. Referrals are a good way to develop a long-lasting and successful card business and it costs you nothing.

By creating an effective referral environment, you will leverage the America’s Drug Card program and increase your script counts. Remember, we are in a truly unique business. The more we can help people in need, the more we can help ourselves and our families.

Attitude, Action, and Persistence

We ring in the New Year with an increase in our compensation… Happy, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I relate to the fi rst few days of January—like that fi rst warm spring day when you clean and detail your car from a long winter. You know how good it feels to get in the driver’s seat, put

the windows down, and take in the smell of spring in your nice shinny car! January marks new beginnings for everyone: Clean the clutter off your desk and out of your mind. Recharge and get a fresh clean start on your year!

When you talk to some of the leaders in the business about their success, you’d be surprised that there answer is simply “I just hand out cards.” Really, that is the key to their success!

“People with goals succeed because they know where they’re going.”

– Earl Nightingale

Often many people overthink the process and can’t get off the ground. What makes others successful? Attitude, Action, and Persistence!

Attitude: The way you think and feel about someone or something, a feeling or way of thinking that affects a person’s behavior.

Action: The accomplishment of a thing usually over a period of time, in stages, or with the possibility of repetition.

Persistence: Existing for a long time or longer time than usual or continuously.

Now is a good time to get in touch with your sponsor and program advisor. New Year, New Opportunity—NEW BEGININGS! Set your goals, both personal and business, based on what you want to accomplish this year and go for it!

If you have been sitting on the fence with your business then January is a good time to jump in the driver’s seat and GO!

We have an exciting year ahead and it’s GAME TIME!

Much Success!

Ideas

Dear Fellow NBBi Family,

It’s that time of year when we look ahead, plan for our futures, and refl ect back on our past. Today is a brand new day and 2015 is a brand new year; let’s take advantage of all of the positive changes that took place in 2014 and move forward at lightning speed.

Here are some of my favorite ways to stay motivated and a few that I plan on incorporating into 2015, hope you enjoy them:

By Kim Daniel

1. Remember that you have friends and family (or a pet) that loves and cares for you. Spend time with them, talk to them, and tell them how you feel.

2. Read an inspirational book. Read the biography of your idol or someone you deeply admire; learn about their life, experiences, what challenges they faced, and how they dealt with them.

3. Exercise daily. No excuses. We were made to move around, not be idle.

4. Listen to your favorite songs; when life’s tough, music makes it 100 times better. I sometimes wonder why music isn’t constantly playing 24/7.

5. Take a power nap. Practice meditation. Never tried it? Look into it. I started by just sitting, closing my eyes, and taking deep breaths. The point is to be still, let go of things that don’t matter, and to simply breathe.

6. Watch a comedy, something ridiculous to get your mind off whatever you were thinking and just let go.

7. Eat healthy, non-fried foods. All that salt and grease is going to make you feel sluggish.

8. Think of all the positives in your life (the roof over your head, the clothes in your closet, etc.) and focus only on that. Forget about what you don’t have—that’ll come later.

9. Sing out loud.

10. Freshen up, clean your face, and brush your teeth. Do this at a random time during the day and I bet you feel ten times better.

11. Write in your journal. Use visualization to see your thoughts down on paper--this is the big difference between “I’ll remember for later,” and “Oh, I have it written down.”

12. Play a competitive sport with friends or whoever.

13. Talk about your ideas with someone. Get feedback. Discuss things you normally wouldn’t.

14. Be vulnerable at all times. Practice this over and over and I bet you will develop unforgettable relationships.

15. If you’re close to the beach, go lie down and relax. Listen to the ocean.

16. There is nothing wrong with being alone. Listen to your thoughts. Pay attention to the small details.

17. 17. Learn something new.

18. 18. Quit doing things you hate doing, no matter what. There was once a life where you didn’t do things you hated. Go back to that because you can.

19. Every time you complain, write down what are you complaining about and why? Now view the other side of the story: Let’s say you’re being negative. Well, what could you be thankful for? Focus on that and forget

everything else.

20. Avoid complaining on Twitter or Facebook. It doesn’t solve your problem, it just prolongs it. Whatever your complaint may be, fi nd a way to fi x it or completely remove it.

21. If avoidable, stop driving during the hours when traffi c is heavy.

22. Paint a picture or draw something. When’s the last time you did that?

23. Read motivational and inspiring quotes. It’s amazing what a few words can do to your mindset.

24. Happiness is a choice, right? Choose to be happy.

25. Help someone out. Help a friend, a family member, someone random. Don’t expect anything in return. Just do it because that’s what good people do.

26. Do something new. Never been to a concert? Try it. Never went snowboarding? Try it.

27. Go to the movies.

28. Look at old pictures of you and your friends and family. Look at how much you have grown and changed. Do you remember the young version of yourself? What you used to do? What you liked? How you acted? Nostalgia is a powerful emotion.

29. Enjoy the sunlight. Bask in it.

30. Turn off all electronics and social media. Learn to shut off distractions. Be mindful of the moment you are in and completely enjoy it.

31. Get in your car and go for a nice drive. Blast the music. Roll the windows down and just breathe. (Preferably when roads are empty).

32. Try new foods. You never know what you may like.

33. If you can, travel. Even if it’s not that far, just go. See new places and try new things.

34. Everyone longs to be appreciated. Show someone that you appreciate them and watch their face light up.

35. Disregard ignorant people. Don’t give them the time of day—they don’t deserve it. Saw something ignorant on Twitter? Unfollow. Saw some ridiculous status on Facebook? Unfriend. Someone said something absurd to you? Laugh.

36. Take a friend or family member out to eat.

May your 2015 be healthy, happy, and prosperous! May all your wishes and dreams come true!

Your PA,Kim Daniel

ChangeHi All,

As many of you know December was the last month of the year 2014. Another thing you all know is many trees shed their leaves in the fall as a strategy to survive the harsh winter conditions (earthsky.org), but when spring

comes around they start to blossom again.

The reason I am using the above statement is to use this analogy: Picture yourselves as leaves and consider what needs to be shed and what needs to start blooming now.

Below are things we need to stop doing and shed from our business:

• Our fears

• Negative thoughts

• Negative people

• Our own stubbornness

Below are things we need start blossoming in our business:

• Passion

• Perseverance

• Positive People

• Positive thoughts

• Patience

• Personal Development

In all that you see above, what has happened? CHANGE.

Things change every day and we must be willing to change with it. We cannot be doing the same things that get us nowhere and thinking that it will get us to our goals. We need to CHANGE.

Go to the back offi ce, listen to calls you’ve missed and even calls you did not miss (who knows, you may have missed something). Know your business inside and out. Know an answer to any question asked. In other words be PREPARED. Brainstorm with your upline, your PAs, and your downlines.

Guys I cannot say this enough: I can believe in you, but if you do not believe in yourself then my words are just words. Dig deep in yourself and pull out the better you.

Be like a snake that sheds its outer layer of skin for continued growth. “A snake will shed its skin as long as it’s growing, and snakes grow all through their lives. Thus, a snake will never stop shedding until death (reptileknowledge.com).”

You all have a Happy New Year!

Ainsworth Moore

As the New Year enters into our lives, it’s time to refl ect back and observe what we learned in 2014 about growing our business and what to do with that knowledge. I strongly believe it’s just as important to analyze what we did well so we can continue to execute that, as it is to evaluate what strategies we’ve tried that didn’t

quite work out the way we thought it would. In order to go from thought to action, let me suggest the following exercise:

The 3 things I did to help my business were:

1.

2.

3.

The reason they worked so well was because:

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The 3 things that didn’t pan out were:

1.

2.

3.

The reason it didn’t work was because:

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Good luck and have a tremendous 2015.
