ENDING HUNGER BY 2030!

Welcome back to school!

At this year’s Big Cheese we got to meet with Badiul Majumdar, the Country Director of The Hunger Project Bangladesh. He has been at this work for 21 years, courageously partnering with the women and men of Bangladesh, empowering them to unleash their self-reliance.

Badiul is hard core. He is radical. He is courageous. He is loving. He is also the creator of the transformative Vision, Commitment and Action process (VCA), now used in every country where The Hunger Project works. In Bangladesh alone, the VCA has mobilized over 260,000 women and men to end their own hunger.

Here in the States, it takes us 4-5 years to complete college. In countries where there is unimaginable economic poverty, corruption, disease and gender violence, women and men are empowering entire communities out of chronic hunger in about 5-8 years. And it all starts with the VCA.

FeelGood adopted the VCA in 2009 because it is a proven and effective way to set radical goals and achieve them.

This year, our movement’s goal is to be on 38 college campuses raising $130,000 for the end of hunger and poverty by 2030. Achieving that goal starts with you.

If we want to end hunger and poverty by 2030, we can’t do business as usual. We have to be radical: radically loving, radically strategic, radically committed, radically bold. The first step is for your chapter to complete your VCA!
