FUNK WITH A SOULFUL TWIST

- a special collaboration "Jazz singer Geoff (GD) Allan is bringing back the funk with a soulful twist during this very special collaboration with Australian jazz piano great Bob Sedergreen, bassist Jonathan Zion and Daniel Farrugia on drums. This performance will be the first time these long time friends and collaborators have joined-up live on stage at the Paris Cat, so expect a unique and playful interplay through old time soul, swing and modern jazz funk. With Allan’s powerful voice full of emotion, old school soul, and the good times of modern dance mayhem, and the genius of ever-young Sedergreen at his playful best on the keys, enjoy a night of celebration and good time music, and all its possibilities. GD has performed with Australian rock and pop greats Ian Moss, Don Walker, and Marcia Hines. He has an extensive performance history spanning 20 years, including national and international festivals, radio, and musical theatre. He achieved chart success in Europe in 2009, when his Broken Sun project produced “Protocol” which reached number four in the Dutch Independent Music Charts (https://soundcloud.com/gdallan/protocol-gd-allan-bme). (https://soundcloud.com/gdallan)."
