During 1983 a modern integrated plant was built in Italy at Levate (BG), in the middle of the MILANO-BRESCIA-BERGAMO industrial area.In the following years LINCO BAXO has built up a reputation in the refractory market and new production unitswere added to increase capacity up to 45.000 tons/year.A sophisticated computerized system which monitors the production process was installed at the same time.High quality materials, secured through its own Research and Development department, and internationalqualifications allow LINCO BAXO to meet the highest standards of its domestic and foreign customers.Today LINCO BAXO is a leading manufacturer of refractory monolithics, castables, gunning mixes, ramming mixes,mouldables, concretes, cements in alumina, aluminosilicate, magnesia, silicon carbide, zirconia, chromite andgraphitics identified by product names Linco-Baxo-Kero. Production programme includes also blocks and othershapes in high alumina and silicon carbide, identified by product names Licoblock-Licobrick-Milblock.

L’établissement d’Arcene (BG) est l’unité où lesmatières premières pour l’envoi successif aux usinesde production sont préparées et mises en stock.L’importante capacité productive du groupe LincoBaxo permet l’achat de matières premières à l’origineet en grandes quantités qui sont ensuite qualifiées enfractions de granulométries prévues par les formules.Les préformes sont ensuite constamment transportéspar la flotte de l’enteprise par camion citerne vers lesusines situées au nord de l’Italie.
Arcene factory is the main processing unit where bulkminerals are pre-sized and stored prior tomanufacturing plants use.As a matter of policy, Linco Baxo Group of Companiesbuys minerals in very large shipments, which are thenprocessed to tightly controlled size fractions to suitproduct formulas.Sized materials are constantly transported to thenearby north Italy plants by an in-house fleet of silo-trucks.

Baxo GmbH is an expansive undertaking engaged in production of monolithic refractories, withheadquarters in Düsseldorf and a manufacturing plant at Bexbach/Germany; annual factory output is20.000 ton/year.The modern manufacturing facility was acquired in 1994 by Linco Baxo group of companies andthen integrated into Baxo GmbH; the end result of this combination is an enlarged product range andimprovement in international operations.Production programme includes alumina based refractory monolithics Baxo, alumina and magnesiabased refractory monolithics Kero.

VIBRO-CASTINGDifferent sized shapes are manufactured byvibrocasting special chemical bonded mixes inmoulds.This process permits manufacture of complex andlarge shapes weighing a few tons.

JOBS and CONSTRUCTIONSTurn-key supply of forehearths and working-ends forglass. Our supply includes engineering, controlequipments, refractories, steel case, borderforehearth equipments, combustion and coolingsystem, in addition to erection, dry-up and start-up.

Linco Baxo group of companies production activity is located in 6modern integrated plants.Continuous investment in high-technology machinery enables ourplants to produce a large volume of high quality products at anaffordable price.Production is oriented to refractory and insulating monolithics,LINCO, BAXO and KERO range, and to bricks, shapes and specialblocks, MAREF, KERA, ISOM, CARBO, LICOBLOCK, CAR andMILBLOCK range.Production lines are organized as follows:
- crushing, grinding, drying for any kind of raw materials;- classifying, screening, pneumatic and mechanical transport to
storage and production silos;- extraction, batching;- continuous electronically managed weighing and mixing;- modern high-power hydraulic pressing facilities;- modern high-power vibro impact pressing facilities;- tunnel and shuttle-type furnaces for firing;- automatic packing and palletising.
