اللهم إني أف تتح الثناء بحمدك O’ Allah!

I begin the lauding by Your praise www.zainab.tv

د للصواب بمنك وأنت مسدAnd

by Your favors You guide to the right

وأي قنت أنك أنت أرحم الراحمين And I am convinced that indeed

You are the Merciful of the merciful www.zainab.tv

في موضع العفو والرحمة In

amnesty and forgiveness

www.zainab.tv

في موضع النكال والنقمة وأشد المعاقبين But stringent

in punishing and disciplining the offenders www.zainab.tv

والعظمة الكبرياء موضع في وأعظم المتجبرين And the Absolute Sovereignty

in the realm of pride and greatness www.zainab.tv

ومسألتك اللهم أذنت لي في دعائك O’ Allah!

You allowed me to supplicate and to ask You www.zainab.tv

فاسمع يا سميع مدحتيTherefore listen

O Hearer of my praise! www.zainab.tv

وأجب يا رحيم دعوتيAnd respond

to my pledge O’ Merciful! www.zainab.tv

وأقل يا غفور عث رتي

And wave

my sins O’ Forgiver!

فكم يا إلهي من كربة قد ف رجتهاO, my Allah! innumerable are

the miseries You have alleviated me from www.zainab.tv

وىموم قد كشفتهاAnd

the grieves You have driven away from me www.zainab.tv

وعث رة قد أق لتهاAnd

afflictions You have lightened me of www.zainab.tv

ورحمة قد نشرتهاAnd

mercy You have showered www.zainab.tv

فككتها وحلقة بلاء قد And aborted

the onslaught of misfortune around me

الحمد للو الذي لم ي تخد صاحبة ولا ولدا All Praise be to Allah

Who has not taken for Himself a wife or a son www.zainab.tv

ولم يكن لو شريك في الملك And

has no partner to His Reign www.zainab.tv

تكبيرا وكب ره ولم يكن لو ولي من الذل Nor does He have a friend to save from disgrace

so Magnify Him with all Greatness www.zainab.tv

الحمد للو بجميع محامده كلهاAll praise

be to Allah, with utmost praises www.zainab.tv

على جميع نعمو كلهاFor

His blessings, all of them www.zainab.tv

الذي لا مضاد لو في ملكو الحمد للو All praise be to Allah

who has no opponent to His rule www.zainab.tv

أمره في لو منازع ولا Nor

a challenger to His commands

www.zainab.tv

الحمد للو الذي لا شريك لو في خلقو All praise be to Allah

who has no partner in His creation www.zainab.tv

ولا شبيو لو في عظمتو Nor

is there a like of Him in His Greatness www.zainab.tv

الحمد للو All

praise be to Allah www.zainab.tv

الفاشي في الخلق أمره وحمده Whose command is evident

in His creation and to Him is praise www.zainab.tv

الباسط بالجود يده الظاىر بالكرم مجده Evident is His grandeur through His kindness

His hands open in generosity www.zainab.tv

قص خزائنو الذي لا ت ن Whose

treasures never lessen www.zainab.tv

إلا جودا وكرما ولا تزيده كث رة العطاء And does not increase His intense

bestowing but generosity and kindness www.zainab.tv

الوىاب العزيز ىو إنو

Indeed

He is the Dear and the Most Merciful www.zainab.tv

اللهم إني أسألك قليلا من كثير O’ Allah!

I ask You for a little from the plenty www.zainab.tv

مع حاجة بي إليو عظيمة Although

my need to it is great

www.zainab.tv

وغناك عنو قديم وىو عندي كثير

And Your needlessness

to it is from ever and that to me is a lot

www.zainab.tv

يسير سهل عليك وىو

And

that to You is minute, easy www.zainab.tv

اللهم إن عفوك عن ذنبيO’ Allah!

Certainly Your forgiving my sins

www.zainab.tv

وتجاوزك عن خطيئتي

And

Your excusing my faults www.zainab.tv

وصفحك عن ظلميAnd

Your overlooking my tyranny www.zainab.tv

رك على قبيح عملي وست And

Your covering my wrong doings

www.zainab.tv

وحلمك عن كثير جرمي And

Your forbearance from my numerous crimes www.zainab.tv

عند ما كان من خطإي وعمديCommitted

by me by mistake or by purpose

www.zainab.tv

أطمعني في أن أسألك ما لا أست وجبو منك Yet I am tempted to ask You

for what I do not deserve from You www.zainab.tv

الذي رزق تني من رحمتك That

You provided to me by Your Mercy

www.zainab.tv

وأري تني من قدرتك

And

You showed me by Your Might www.zainab.tv

وعرف تني من إجابتك And

You made me know by Your acceptance www.zainab.tv

فصرت أدعوك آمنا Therefore

I persist in calling You with faith www.zainab.tv

وجلا ولا خائفا لا وأسألك مستأنسا And I ask You in a familiar way

least afraid nor being shy www.zainab.tv

مدلا عليك فيما قصدت فيو إليك Rather

with my pledges I approach You demurring www.zainab.tv

عتبت بجهلي عليك فإن أبطأ عني

And if my needs are delayed

I blamed You due to my ignorance www.zainab.tv

ر لي ولعل الذي أبطأ عني ىو خي May be

such a delay could be better for me www.zainab.tv

لعلمك بعاقبة الأمور Because

You know the consequences of all matters www.zainab.tv

ف لم أر مولى كريما I

have not seen such a Benevolent Master www.zainab.tv

علي منك لئيم عبد على أصب ر

Who is more patient

than You on a low servant like me

، إنك تدعوني فأولي عنك يا رب O’ my Lord!

Certainly You call me and I turn away from You www.zainab.tv

وت تحبب إلي فأت ب غض إليك And

You befriend me and I hate You www.zainab.tv

فلا أق بل منك وت ت ودد إلي You extend Your love to me

but I do not accept from You www.zainab.tv

كأن لي التطول عليك As if

I am demurring You

www.zainab.tv

ف لم يمن عك ذلك Despite

that You do not suspend

www.zainab.tv

إلي والإحسان من الرحمة ليi.e.

bestowing blessings and favors on me

www.zainab.tv

والت فضل علي بجودك وكرمك And

emanating from Your mercy and generosity www.zainab.tv

فارحم عبدك الجاىل So

have mercy towards Your ignorant servant www.zainab.tv

وجد عليو بفضل إحسانك And

bless him by Your great generosity www.zainab.tv

إنك جواد كريم Certainly,

You are Generous, Kind

مجري الفلك الحمد للو مالك الملك Praise be to Allah, the absolute Sovereign

Regulator of the arc (of existence)

فالق الإصباح مسخر الرياح Creator

of the winds, causes the break of dawn www.zainab.tv

ين رب العالمين ديان الد Judge of the Day of Reckoning

Lord of the Worlds www.zainab.tv

على حلمو ب عد علمو الحمد للو All praise be to Allah

for His forbearance - after His knowledge www.zainab.tv

قدرتو ب عد عفوه على والحمد للو And all praise be to Allah for

His amnesty - after His Omnipotence www.zainab.tv

والحمد للو على طول أناتو في غضبو And all praise be to Allah

for His lasting tolerance despite His wrath www.zainab.tv

وىو قادر على ما يريد And

He is Powerful over what He wants www.zainab.tv

باسط الرزق الحمد للو خالق الخلق All praise be to Allah, the Creator of all creation

the provider of sustenance www.zainab.tv

ذي الجلال والإكرام فالق الإصباح The separator of dawn

possessor of Glory and Honor

والفضل والإنعام And

the Favors and the Blessings www.zainab.tv

وق رب فشهد النجوى الذي ب عد فلا يرىWho is far and cannot be seen

yet nearest that He witnesses the whisper www.zainab.tv

وتعالى تبارك The

Glorified and Exalted www.zainab.tv

ليس لو منازع يعادلو الحمد للو الذيAll praise be to Allah

Who has no one parallel to challenge Him www.zainab.tv

ولا ظهير يعاضده ولا شبيو يشاكلو Nor a like worth-comparing with Him

nor a helper to assist Him

وتواضع لعظمتو العظماء ق هر بعزتو الأعزاء He tames the violent by His Honor

and low before His Greatness are the great www.zainab.tv

يشاء ما بقدرتو ف ب لغ So, He with His power

accomplishes what He wants www.zainab.tv

الذي يجيبني حين أناديو الحمد للو All praise be to Allah

Who replies when I call Him www.zainab.tv

ويست ر علي كل عورة وأنا أعصيو And

He covers my faults whence I defy Him

www.zainab.tv

وي عظم الن عمة علي فلا أجازيو And

magnifies His bounties on me and I don’t reward

www.zainab.tv

فكم من موىبة ىنيئة قد أعطانيHow many of Your lively favors

have You given to me www.zainab.tv

وعظيمة مخوفة قد كفاني And

how many dangers you saved me from

www.zainab.tv

وب هجة مونقة قد أراني؟And

numerous amazing joys You showed me www.zainab.tv

وأذكره مسبحا فأثني عليو حامدا

Therefore, I laude Him

and remember Him with exaltation www.zainab.tv

الحمد للو الذي لا ي هتك حجابو All praise be to Allah

Who none can transpire His cover www.zainab.tv

ولا ي رد سائلو ولا ي غلق بابو

And His door never closes

His seekers never sent back www.zainab.tv

آملو يخيب ولا And

the hopeful ever disappointed www.zainab.tv

الذي ي ؤمن الخائفين الحمد للو All praise be to Allah

Who gives protection to the frightened www.zainab.tv

وي رفع المستضعفين وي نجي الصالحين And gives salvation to the pious

and raises the weak www.zainab.tv

ويضع المستكبرين And

destroys the atrocious www.zainab.tv

آخرين ويستخلف ملوكا وي هلك

And ruins the rulers

and replaces them by others

www.zainab.tv

والحمد للو قاصم الجبارين And all praise be to Allah

Breaker of the oppressors www.zainab.tv

مدرك الهاربين مبير الظالمين Eliminator of the tyrants

perceiver of the fugitive www.zainab.tv

صريخ المستصرخين نكال الظالمين Punisher of the tyrants

assistance to those who seek Him www.zainab.tv

المؤمنين معتمد موضع حاجات الطالبين The centre of fulfilling the needs of the needy

the Trust of the faithful www.zainab.tv

الذي من خشيتو الحمد للو All praise

be to Allah, He by whose fear www.zainab.tv

ت رعد السماء وسكانها

The skies

and its dwellers tremble www.zainab.tv

وت رجف الأرض وعمارىاAnd

the earth and its inhabitants shake www.zainab.tv

غمراتها في يسبح ومن وتموج البحار

And oceans in which whatever swims

floats in excitement www.zainab.tv

الحمد للو الذي ىدانا لهذاAll praise be to Allah

He who has guided us to this

www.zainab.tv

اللو ىدانا أن لولا لن هتدي كنا وما

And we would not have been guided

had Allah not guided us

www.zainab.tv

الحمد للو الذي يخلق ولم يخلق All praise be to Allah

who creates but is not created www.zainab.tv

وي رزق ولا ي رزق And

He provides and himself is not provided

www.zainab.tv

ويميت الأحياء ويطعم ولا يطعم And feeds but is not fed

kills the living and gives life to the dead www.zainab.tv

وىو حي لا يموت ويحيي الموتىMakes the living dead

and He is Living and never dies www.zainab.tv

ر قدير شيء كل على وىو بيده الخي

In His hands is every good

and He is able to do all things

www.zainab.tv

اللهم صل على محمد O’ Allah!

Send salutations on Mohammed www.zainab.tv

وأمينك وصفيك وحبيبك عبدك ورسولك Your servant and Your messenger

Your confidant and chosen, and Your beloved www.zainab.tv

وحافظ سرك وخيرتك من خلقك Your best creation

the preserver of Your secret www.zainab.tv

ومب لغ رسالاتك And

the preacher of Your teachings www.zainab.tv

وأزكى وأنمى وأجمل وأكمل أفضل وأحسن Best, beautiful, perfect

prosperous and pleasant

وأسنى وأكث ر ما صليت وأطيب وأطهر Holy, purified, sublime

and the most salutations You have sent www.zainab.tv

وتحن نت وسلمت وباركت وت رحمت

Glorified, blessed,

showered and saluted www.zainab.tv

وأنبيائك ورسلك وصفوتك على أحد من عبادك Upon none of Your servants and

Your messengers and prophets and Your chosen www.zainab.tv

خلقك من عليك الكرامة وأىل And

honoured among your creation www.zainab.tv

أمير المؤمنين اللهم وصل على علي O’ Allah! And send salutations on

Ali the chief of the faithful www.zainab.tv

ووصي رسول رب العالمين

And the successor of the messenger

of the Lord of the worlds

وأخي رسولك عبدك ووليك Your servant, Your Wali

brother of Your messenger www.zainab.tv

وحجتك على خلقك And

Your argument over mankind www.zainab.tv

والنبأ العظيم وآيتك الكبرى

And

Your great sign and the great news www.zainab.tv

يقة الطاىرة وصل على الصد And

send salutations on al-Siddiqa al-Tahira

فاطمة سيدة نساء العالمين Fatima

the leader of the women of the worlds www.zainab.tv

وصل على سبطي الرحمة And

on the custodian of Your commands www.zainab.tv

والعدل المنتظر القائم المؤمل Al-Qaim, the desired

and the awaited justice

وحفو بملائكتك المقربين And

surround him by Your near angels www.zainab.tv

يا رب العالمين وأيده بروح القدس

And assist him by Your holy Spirit

O’ Lord of the worlds!

اعي إلى كتابك اللهم اجعلو الد O’ Allah!

Make him the inviter towards Your book

استخلفو في الأرض والقائم بدينك And enforcing Your religion

and make him succeed in the earth

كما استخلفت الذين من ق بلو

Like those

who You made to succeed before him

www.zainab.tv

مكن لو دينو الذي ارتضيتو لو Establish his religion

that You approved for him www.zainab.tv

أبدلو من ب عد خوفو أمنا

Grant

him safety after his fear

www.zainab.tv

شيئا بك يشرك لا ي عبدك

So that he worships You sincerely

ascribes no partner to You www.zainab.tv

اللهم أعزه وأعزز بو O’ Allah!

Dignify him and through him grant dignity www.zainab.tv

وانصره وان تصر بو And assist him

and through him assist others www.zainab.tv

وانصره نصرا عزيزا And

grant him an honorable victory www.zainab.tv

واف تح لو ف تحا يسيرا

And

open for him an easy opening www.zainab.tv

واجعل لو من لدنك سلطانا نصيرا And

make him a victorious ruler

اللهم أظهر بو دينك وسنة نبيك O’ Allah! Through him promote Your religion

and the way of Your Prophet www.zainab.tv

حتى لا يستخفي بشيء من الحق Until nothing

of the right remains hidden www.zainab.tv

الخلق من أحد مخافة

In fear

of any of the creation

www.zainab.tv

اللهم إنا ن رغب إليك في دولة كريمة O’ Allah!

We humbly request You that in the dignified rule

www.zainab.tv

تعز بها الإسلام وأىلو Wherein

Islam and its adherents will be honoured www.zainab.tv

وتذل بها النفاق وأىلو And

hypocrisy and its adherents will be humiliated www.zainab.tv

وتجعلنا فيها من الدعاة إلى طاعتكYou enlist us among those who invite

to Your obedience www.zainab.tv

والقادة إلى سبيلك And

the foremost to Your path www.zainab.tv

نيا كرامة بها وت رزقنا والآخرة الدAnd grant us through it

the dignity of this world and the Hereafter

www.zainab.tv

لناه اللهم ما عرف ت نا من الحق فحمO’ Allah! Whatever truth You have made

known to us, help us bear it www.zainab.tv

و ما قصرنا عنو ف ب لغناه And

the deficit in it make us achieve it

www.zainab.tv

اللهم المم بو شعثناO’ Allah!

through him put things right for us www.zainab.tv

واشعب بو صدعنا

And

gather and unite our groups

www.zainab.tv

قنا وكث ر بو قلتنا وارتق بو ف ت Through him

ease our difficulty, increase our fewness www.zainab.tv

وأغن بو عائلنا وأعزز بو ذلتنا And

regain our lost honor, enrich our families

www.zainab.tv

واجب ر بو ف قرنا واقض بو عن مغرمناAnd

overcome our debts, eradicate our poverty www.zainab.tv

ويسر بو عسرنا وسد بو خلتناThrough him help us

come out of chaos and ease our difficulties www.zainab.tv

وفك بو أسرنا وب يض بو وجوىنا And

brighten our faces, free our captives

www.zainab.tv

وأنجز بو مواعيدنا وأنجح بو طلبتناGrant us what we request

and avail our needs, fulfill our promises www.zainab.tv

وأعطنا بو سؤلنا واستجب بو دعوتناAnd through him

accept our pledges, and give us our requests www.zainab.tv

نيا من بو وب لغنا آمالنا والآخرة الدAnd full fill our hopes

in this world and the hereafter

www.zainab.tv

وأعطنا بو ف وق رغبتناAnd through him

give us more than our expectations

www.zainab.tv

ر المسؤولين وأوسع المعطين يا خي O’ the best to be sought!

and the most generous of the givers www.zainab.tv

وأذىب بو غيظ ق لوبنا اشف بو صدورناThrough him cure our chests

and remove the hatred from our hearts

www.zainab.tv

واىدنا بو لما اختلف فيو من الحق بإذنك And through him guide us towards

the disputed truth by Your permission www.zainab.tv

إلى صراط مستقيم إنك ت هدي من تشاء Certainly You guide whom You wish

to the right path www.zainab.tv

وانصرنا بو على عدوك Through him

help us over Your enemy www.zainab.tv

آمين الحق إلو وعدوناAnd our enemy

O’ The Rightful God! Aameen

www.zainab.tv

اللهم إنا نشكو إليك ف قد نبيناO’ Allah! we express our misfortune to You

of the loss of our Prophet

www.zainab.tv

صلواتك عليو وآلو May Your salutations

be on him and his progeny www.zainab.tv

وكث رة عدونا وغيبة وليناAnd the disappearance of our guardian

and the large number of our enemies www.zainab.tv

ة وقلة عددنا بنا الفتن وشد

And our fewness in number

and intensity of the widespread disorder www.zainab.tv

علينا الزمان وتظاىر And

the vicissitude of time www.zainab.tv

وآلو محمد على فصل So send salutations

on Mohammed and his progeny www.zainab.tv

لو وأعنا على ذلك بفتح منك ت عجAnd help us from all that

by a hastened victory from You www.zainab.tv

وبضر تكشفو ونصر تعزه

And the distresses but that You have removed

and an assistance You have honored www.zainab.tv

وسلطان حق تظهره

And

a rightful ruler You will avail

www.zainab.tv

ورحمة منك تجللناىاAnd

an encompassing mercy from You www.zainab.tv

وعافية منك ت لبسناىاAnd a health from You

with which You will clothe us www.zainab.tv

الراحمين أرحم يا برحمتك By Your mercy

O’ Merciful of the merciful!

دم ح م ل آو دم ح م ىلع ل هم ص ل لا

www.zainab.tv

اللهم برحمتك فى الصالحين فأدخلناO Allah!

By Your mercy include us among the pious www.zainab.tv

و فى عليين فارف عناAnd

raise us among the ‘Iliyyin’ (exalted)

www.zainab.tv

و بكأس من معين من عين سلسبيل فاسقناWith a cup of water from the spring of

Salsabeel quench us

www.zainab.tv

و من الحور العين برحمتك ف زوجنا

And

pair us with houris, by Your mercy

www.zainab.tv

و من الولدان المخلدين

And

through the young heavenly lads www.zainab.tv

كأن هم لؤلؤ مكنون فأخدمناWell groomed like pearls

get us the served www.zainab.tv

و من ثمار الجنة و لحوم الطير فأطعمناFeed us with the fruits of Paradise

and the flesh of birds www.zainab.tv

و من ثياب السندس و الحرير And

with robes of thick brocade of silk www.zainab.tv

رق فألبسنا ستب و الإAnd

gold clothe us

www.zainab.tv

لة القدر و حج ب يتك الحرام و لي And Laylatul Qadr

and the pilgrimage to Your sacred house www.zainab.tv

و ق تلا فى سبيلك ف وفق لناAnd grant us

the dying in Your way www.zainab.tv

عاء و المسألة فاستجب لنا و صالح الدAnd answer our prayers

and requests, which are good www.zainab.tv

و إذا جمعت الأولين و الآخرين And when You gather

the people of the first and the last www.zainab.tv

القيامة فارحمنا ي وم On the Day of Judgment

have mercy on us

www.zainab.tv

و ب راءة من النار فاكتب لناAnd

write for us a protection from the fire

www.zainab.tv

و فى جهنم فلا ت غلنا And

do not confine us to Hell

www.zainab.tv

و فى عذابك و ىوانك فلا ت بتلناAnd

try us not with Your punishment and disgrace

www.zainab.tv

و من الزقوم و الضريع فلا تطعمناAnd feed us not from the bitter tree

nor the thorny fruit (of Hell)

www.zainab.tv

و مع الشياطين فلا تجعلناAnd

do not place us with the devils

www.zainab.tv

نا و فى النار على وجوىنا فلا تكبب Nor

throw us on our faces in Hell

www.zainab.tv

و من ثياب النار And

with the flames www.zainab.tv

و سرابيل القطران فلا ت لبسناAnd

with the tar of Hell, do not clothe us www.zainab.tv

و من كل سوء يا لا إلو إلا أنت And from every evil

O’ the one who, there is no god but You

www.zainab.tv

نا بحق لا إلو إلا أنت ف نجBy the right of

there being no god but You save us www.zainab.tv

اللهم إنى أسألك أن تجعل فيما ت قضى و O Allah I ask You that You enlist ت قدر

in the decisions that You will decree

www.zainab.tv

من الأمر المحتوم فى الأمر الحكيم i.e. the definite order

in the Wise Commands www.zainab.tv

القضاء الذى لا ي رد و لا ي بدل من The decisions

which cannot be changed or bypassed

www.zainab.tv

أن تكتبنى من حجاج ب يتك الحرام That You register me

among the pilgrims of Your sacred house www.zainab.tv

رور حجهم المشكور سعي هم المب

Whose Hajj is accepted

their efforts thanked www.zainab.tv

المغفور ذنوب هم المكفرعن سيئاتهم

Their sins forgiven

and their wrong doings waived www.zainab.tv

ر و أن تجعل فيما ت قضى و ت قدAnd You make

in the decisions that You will decree

www.zainab.tv

أن تطيل عمرىThat

You lengthen my life

www.zainab.tv

فى خير و عافية و ت وسع فى رزقىWith health

and expand my sustenance

www.zainab.tv

و تجعلنى ممن ت نتصر بو لدينك And enlist me among those

through whom You assist Your religion www.zainab.tv

و لا تستبدل بى غيرى

And

do not change me with another

www.zainab.tv
