Day 2 Thursday, March 28, 2019 Rome | Sorrento Make a morning connection in Europe and continue to Rome. Arrive at Fiumicino Airport and meet local Tour Managers. Depart for Sorrento with a stop en route. On arrival, get checked into the hotel and take an orientation walk with your Tour Manager through the town. Sorrento is small and easily explored on foot. Day 3 Friday, March 29, 2019 Isle of Capri | Sorrento Board a hydrofoil jet-boat for a crossing of the Mediterranean Sea to the Isle of Capri. Enjoy views of the Faraglioni Rocks and Marina Piccola. Ascend by minibus to Ana Capri for spectacular views all the way to Naples. Return to Sorrento in the late afternoon. Parade and concert in Sorrento. Dinner at the hotel to follow the concert. B/D

Day 4 Saturday, March 30, 2019 Amalfi Coast | Sorrento Enjoy spectacular sightseeing along the Amalfi Coast with a visit to Positano. Board a private boat and cruise to Amalfi where you perform an afternoon concert on the steps of the St. Andrew’s Cathedral. Get lunch and explore in small groups. Return to Sorrento with the evening free to get dinner on your own with friends and family members. B

Day 5 Sunday, March 31, 2019 Sorrento | Pompeii | Rome Check out of the hotel and travel to Pompeii. Enjoy a guided tour of this Roman city, petrified and preserved by the eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79. Have time to get lunch and then continue onward to Rome. On arrival in Rome check into the hotel. Walk to dinner at local restaurants with your guides. B/D

Day 6 Monday, April 1, 2019 Rome Enjoy guided sightseeing of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Arch of Constantine, and the Victor Emanuel Monument. See the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. Evening concert in one of the many prestigious Roman Piazzas. Dinner this evening in small groups. B

Day 7 Tuesday, April 2, 2019 Orvieto | Rome Travel to the Umbrian hill-town of Orvieto, which sits dramatically on a cliff and dominates the countryside in every direction. Perform a concert in front of the magnificent Gothic Duomo, the jewel of this medieval city. Explore the town and get dinner at local restaurants. Return to Rome. B/D

Day 8 Wednesday, April 3, 2019 Rome Visit the Vatican Museums and the beautiful Sistine Chapel with its 10,000 square foot ceiling painted by Michelangelo. Continue into St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in Christendom. Have time for final souvenir shopping. Enjoy a final Farewell Dinner in Rome. B/D

SHHS Band fundraising will be credited to your account as a payment in January of 2019. Please do not pay your final balance until the fundraising has been credited to your tour account.
