Block 21 is a mostly residential block of the central zone of New Belgrade, and only one of the nine central blocks consistently performed according to the original plan. The construction of Block 21 in New Belgrade started the
implementation of the urban plan of New Belgrade.

We can see the block through the three parts that make up the composition of the block. The first part consists of six housing with a sixteen floors and longitudinal of the eight-storey building.

Net area of the block is 185,000 m², of which more than half covered with vegetation and a variety of tracks. In the block live about 10 thousand peoples.

Block 21 has an important place in the history of Serbian architecture, sets a new relationship with the organization block. . The construction of this block for some of the ideas of the Athens Charter; also the demand and the template by which to continue further construction of open blocks of New Belgrade. This project did not
leave a big mark on history only, but also on projects that will be implemented in the future.
