Aussi, en entrant dans le monde, le Christ dit : Tu n’as

voulu ni sacrifice ni offrande, mais tu m’as formé un

corps. Tu n’as pas agréé les holocaustes ni les sacrifices

pour le péché ; alors, j’ai dit : Me voici, je suis venu, mon

Dieu, pour faire ta volonté, ainsi qu’il est écrit de moi

dans le Livre. Le Christ commence donc par dire : Tu

n’as pas voulu ni agréé les sacrifices et les offrandes, les

holocaustes et les sacrifices pour le péché, ceux que la

Loi prescrit d’offrir. Puis il déclare : Me voici, je suis

venu pour faire ta volonté. Ainsi, il supprime le premier

CELEBRATING THE EUCHARIST

During this hymn a collection will be taken for the work of the

Cathedral in Downtown Montréal. Please give generously. If you

would like to find out about regular or tax efficient ways of giving

please speak to a steward.

Through our outreach programmes the Cathedral supports many

local organizations which help the needy.

The Cathedral is open seven days a week between 7.30am and

6pm on weekdays and Sundays, and 11am – 6pm on Saturdays, for

all who want to pray, for all who are looking for peace, a quiet place

to sit and rest, and seek help.

Each person can stand or kneel to take Holy Communion as they please.

People who sit in the ‘Union’ side aisle should go to the Baptistry to take Communion.

People in the ‘Robert Bourassa side aisle should go to the St John Chapel to take Communion.

People who sit in the central Nave will be guided by the Stewards.

People can stand on any of the three sides– the baptistry, the Chapel or the front altar step.

People who desire to kneel should make their own way to the baptistry or the St John Chapel.

This experimental way of taking Holy Communion will be reviewed at the Forum meeting on Jan 19.

PRAYER MINISTRY

During Communion, there is an opportunity for prayer with

two members of the congregation. You may particularly want

to thank God today for something, or pray for something for

yourself or for someone else. Please go to the side chapel

after receiving Holy Communion and wait in line until the two

prayer ministers invite you to join them.

procurer un permis annuel pour l'année 2016. Les

permis sont disponibles auprès du sacristain. Coût: $100.

Les permis actuels ne seront plus valables après le 31

décembre. Dès le 1e février la politique de stationnement

sera strictement appliquée.
