Benzimidazole derivativesR 0200 A Facile Synthesis of 2-Acyl and 2-Alkylaminobenzimidazoles for 5-Lipoxygenase

Inhibitors. — A variety of substituted 2-aminobenzimidazoles is prepared from o-phe-nylenediamines and tested as 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors.
