We want it to become an important part of people’s lives and bring that something special to brighten up everyone’s day.
In this document we have outlined just what it is we are looking for and we’ve pulled together an image board to outline how we really want it to be delivered.
If you understand what we are going to deliver and want to be part of it, we’re looking forward to meeting you.
It’s where the idea for The Batch House came from. A well designed space, loads of parking, bright, light, clean, efficiently heated, cooled and vented, welcoming environment where people go to enjoy great food and drink, buy great food to take home and cook properly, and to breath in the difference proper foods makes to your mind, body, soul and life.
THIS IS JAMES STREET MARKET, BRISBANE.
It’s such an important word, in the Batch House, it’s going to be the basis of everything food and drink.
We are looking for great product to be sold in a stylish way.
PROVENANCE, THE EARLIEST KNOWN HISTORY OF SOMETHING.
There are some wonderful cheesemongers in this country and throughout Europe but around these parts a genuine quality cheesemonger is hard to find, we want one in The Batch House.

We want a truly exciting bakery, bread plays an enormous part in all our lives, people are discovering it everyday. Sheffield is blessed with a few great bakers, today Chesterfield and it’s surrounding area is not. We want to put that right.

The kind of feel we will be creating inside The Batch House.THE VIBE
WINE
Wine again, doesn’t have to be crazy prices to be just that little bit better, we want an individual who’s deep knowledge of wine from all corners of the world will bring that helping hand in choosing and promoting your choices.
Presentation with all our tenants is going to be important.
Amazing what you can do with leeks and peppers.

BUTCHERY
Butchery, provenance number one, presentation can be so good without it costing a fortune. If you get this, we’d love to talk to you.
These joints are stored and sold at different ages! Presentation makes such a difference.
Dried fruit, nuts and pulses, becoming more and more important in everyone’s diets. We want someone to sell them like this.
DRIED FRUIT, NUTS & PULSES
Fishmongers, there are one or two excellent fishmongers in Sheffield but none in Chesterfield or its surrounding area. This guy makes it look really special, we want someone to do that at The Batch House.
