Review of American History

Anywhere between 13,000 to 15,000 years ago, people first came to the Americas by Bering Strait which was frozen during the Ice Age or by boat, sailing from Europe in the North Atlantic.

As time goes on, the people form groups and these groups form civilizations and cultures and will be called Indians.

Incas

American Indians

Mayans

Aztecs

These early civilizations thrived, even after being discovered by the Viking Leif Ericsson from Norway in 1000 AD or CE in what is now Newfoundland in Canada.

But this will all come to an end in 1492, with the coming of Columbus who is looking for a shorter route to China from Europe and accidentally lands in the Americas.
