    ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE DESINGING–PRODUCTION–REALIZATION

    Research-and-development enterprise «Spetskabel» has a specialized cable production, up-to-date technology and

    test base. Our company has rights nearly for all series-produced products most of which are certified in «GOST

    R» and «Fire Safety» systems. Also there are the type approval certificates from the Russian marine registry of

    shipping , the licenses of the Federal service for ecological, technological and nuclear monitoring for designing and

    producing the equipment for nuclear power plants.

    The range of the designed and series-produced production includes:

    - cables for security and fire protection systems (addressable FAS, WEC);

    - cables for industrial automation (RS-485, Profibus ); - fire resistant cables for alarm systems; - cables for local area networks (non-typical installation conditions); - cables for digital telephony (stream Е1); - radio-frequency cables (cable TV systems, radio- and cellular communication); - tribo-electrical cables (for vibration alarm systems); - hybrid cables (including for video surveiilance).

    Our enterprise produces radio-

    frequency cable assemblies (parts of cable assembled with connectors) for radio-electronic equipment and antenna-and-feeder transmission lines in which the transmission parameters in the frequency range up to 20 GHz are set.

    Accredited test laboratory and

    quality control system guarantee a high level of our prodction.

    «Spetskabel» has developed,

    documented, introduced a quality management system satisfying the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001, GOST RV 15.002, RD V 319.015, NP-011. That is confirmed by the annual inspection audits held by the quality management system certification authorities.

    «Spetskabel» is a permanent

    participant of the International specialized exhibitions such as «Svyaz-Expocom», «Navy Fair», «PTA», «Oil and Gas», «Expoelectronika», «ASU-EXPO», «Safety and security technologies».

    Among the consumers of our products there are such companies as Gasprom, Transneft, Lukoil,

    Kaliningradskaya, Rostovskaya, Smolenskaya, Balakovskaya nuclear power plants, Norilskiy Nikel, Siberia chemical plant, MTS, «Tactical military rocketry» corporation, Traffic Ministry, RZD, NIIDAR, TSNIIRTI, NII TP, «Krosna», NII IT and many others.

    The cables produced by our enterprise can be delivered practically to all Russian cities and all the countries

    abroad. The products of our enterprise are realized by the trading house «Spetskabel». «Spetskabel» is open to cooperation, takes any orders for producing special cables according to technical

    requirements of the customers, advises on the issues concerning the application of our products.

  • ABOUT  THE   INTERPR ISE  

    TEST BASE

    One of the most  important departments of the “Spetskabel”  is a test  laboratory which provides main kinds of testing of cable products. 

    The test laboratory is arranged in the specially equipped promises meeting the testing requirements.  

    It is provided with certified testing equipment and proven instruments for measurement which are necessary for testing the cable products in accordance with the test procedure requirements currently in force.  

    As for conducting of electric testing, the following kinds of works can be done: 

    • Measuring of main transmission parameters of radio frequency cables, cables assemblies and connectors, high-frequency communication cables over the frequency range up to 20 GHz with the help of the vector analyzer of circuits of the type ZVB 20 of the company Rohde & Schwarz;

    • Measuring of a full set of parameters stated in the IEC standards 61156 for symmetrical cables of pair twisting of 7 category or a lower category and testing of structured cable systems of class E or a lower class over the frequency range up to 350 MHz by using a cable analyzer of the type DSP-4000 of the company Fluke Corporation and a cable tester of the type PentaScanner+ of the compony Microtest and over the frequency range up to 600 MHz by using the analyzer of circuits of the compony Agilent Technologies E 5062A and impedance buffer (baluns)of the company Nort Hills;

    • Measuring of DC current-carrying conductors resistance from 10-6 to 103 Ohm; • Measuring of DC insulation resistance from 106 to 1015 Ohm; • DC (up to 10 kV) and AC (up to 50 kV) voltage test. The test laboratory area of environmental tests provides cable product tests of exposure factors over the range of

    temperatures -80 to +200°С and humidity up to 98 %. Cable product tests of mechanical exposure are held in the test laboratory area of construction tests and mechanical tests.  

    The  test  laboratory  has  all  the  necessary  organizational  and  methodical  and  normative  documents  containing  the requirements  for  tested  products  and  methods  of  product  testing  (domestic  and  international  requirements,  technical specifications for particular kinds of cable products).  

    The test laboratory possesses all the necessary IEC standards for radiofrequency cables (coaxial communication cables), for nearly all existing kinds of radiofrequency cable connectors, coaxial cable assemblies, cables of pair twisting and others.

    The test laboratory uses the German standards (DIN, VDE), the American ones (ASTM, TIA/EIA, Mil), the British ones (BS EN) contained in the laboratory normative document fund.

    With the view to holding certificate tests of cable products the test laboratory has been accredited by the certification system GOST R and has an accreditation certificate № ROSS RU. 0001. 22KB17.

    The test laboratory is accredited to hold the certification tests of the following cable products: • Radio frequency cables, communication cables, input and jumper cables, ant vibration and triboelectric cables;  • Symmetrical  cables of pair  twisting  for  the digital  communication  systems of 3‐6  category,  the networks of  industrial 

    automation and  fire alarm systems and office cables for installation inside a rack and between racks.  • Power cables and wires;  • Ship cables;  • Optical, control cables, cables for blocking and signaling for electrical units;  • Flexible aerial cables, for electrosubmersible pump;  • General wiring cables, for rolling stock;  • Wires  for  industrial blasting,  провода для промышленных взрывных работ, motor and  tractor equipment,  contact, 

    thermocouple wires and wires for household use;  • Cable radio frequency, hybrid assemblies and assemblies for special purpose ;  • Coaxial radiofrequency connectors. The test laboratory is accredited by the EMERCOM of Russia to hold conformation tests of cable products compliance with 

    the  fire  safety  requirements  established by  the  Federal  law «Technical  regulations on  fire  safety»  (flame  retardance  at  single installation of a cable, wire, cord). 

    Holding  certification  tests  of  cable  products  the  test  laboratory  cooperates with  the  certification  authorities  such  as “Srrtinform VNIINMASh”, “Technoneftegas”, Rostest‐Russia, OOO NTSC “Batty”.  

    In the laboratory there is an area for measuring screening characteristics of cable products (coaxial and symmetrical cables, coaxial connectors and adapters, cable assemblies) over the range of frequencies 300 kHz up to 3000 MHz by using a measuring system  “CoMeT” produced  jointly by  such  companies as Bedea and Rosenberger  (Germany). This  system makes  it possible  to estimate transfer impedance of the magnitude from several µOhm/m and screening attenuation of the magnitude above 125 dB (at the moment it is possible to estimate transfer impedance of the magnitude from several mOhm/m and screening attenuation up to 120 dB). The circuit analyzer of the company Agilent Technologies E5062A is used as a measuring device.  

    The  “Spetskabel”  offers  holding  screening  efficiency  estimation  of  the  cable  products mentioned  above with  a  screen diameter from 2,3 up to 14,8 mm in accordance with the IEC standards of the series 62153‐4.

The sheath is PVC of normal (KPSVV) or high heat and oil-and-petrol resistance (KPSVVt) of red color or of PVC of high cold-resistance (KPSVVm) or of self-extinguishing PE (KPSVPs) of black color. The cables (one-paired and double-paired) are series-produced. At the special request the cables can be produced with a number of pairs up to 40, depending on a cross-section of conductors.

    Fire risk class of the cables in accordance with GOST R 53315–2009 – О1.8.2.3.4 (KPSVV, KPSVVt, KPSVVm) and О2.8.2.3.4 (KPSVVs)
