• Epic provides wireless networks to communities.

• Epic began in 2002 as an Information Technology (I.T.) company servicing clients with web design, data recovery, networking, hardware upgrades and repair.

• In 2006, Epic restructured and began offering Wireless Network Services to communities, apartments and condo associations.

• Epic provides wireless internet service and wireless security services to communities.

• Along with internet, Epic will also offer wireless personal security cameras for remote monitoring and may offer VOiP home telephone service.

• First, an internet source is delivered to a common area in the community (usually the clubhouse).

• Second, the internet source is beamed wirelessly throughout the community to several “drops”.

• Third, wireless “radios” are deployed around the drops creating a spider-web effect around the community which delivers internet service to each residence.

• What does the customer need in order to connect?– A wireless network card (USB, Internal, PCMCIA)

– Windows 2000, ME, 2003, XP, Vista or Mac OS X

– In some cases a wireless repeater may be required

• What if I already have a wireless home network?– Our wireless modem/router is required for service and

replaces your current cable modem, or DSL modem.

• Our network is behind the latest version of N.A.T (Network Address Translation). This means each connection to one of our access points creates a private tunnel to the internet.

• Epic also utilizes a user name & password system that authenticates each subscriber with our servers.

• By default ALL access is blocked until a user is authorized. This means any outside traffic, or un-authorized users are blocked from the system.

• Up to and including 5 Mbps download *

• Subscribers are entitled up to 5 e-mail accounts per subscription. You can choose from the following domains:– @epicwifi.net– @yourcommunityname.com

• Epic will configure E-Mail addresses for web mail access, or POP access through Outlook or Outlook Express.

• Subscribers who already have broadband service and are using the free AOL or MSN services may continue using such services after switching to Epic. All accounts on such service remains the same, however Epic does not support or trouble-shoot these services.

End-User Commitments

• Traditionally, Epic does not require service commitments. However, if a subscriber chooses the annual or semi-annual plan, they pay for the service upfront. If they choose to cancel during that time, service will be pro-rated and credits will be given for the unused service.

• No capital outlay is required by the community for the system to be installed in order for subscribers to access the system.

Guest Access

• Guests of registered subscribers are allowed access to the system. They must first register on our website to verify their identity and relation to the subscriber. Up to 3 guests can be simultaneously logged on.
