SWEDESBORO-WOOLWICH BOARD OF EDUCATION

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, on Friday, July 10, 2020, the Swedesboro-Woolwich Board of Education (District)

received notification that the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) reduced State Aid

payable to the District in the amount of $541,239; and

WHEREAS, the District must hold a public meeting to adopt a plan to address the State Aid

reduction no later than August 14, 2020 and submit the plan to NJDOE by August 14, 2020; and

WHEREAS, the District chooses to reduce appropriations from the level contained in the

original budget certified for taxes;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the District adopts and approves the following

plan to satisfy these requirements:
