Tech for Impact Asia 2019- Asia’s largest forum on technology for good
Technology has the power to create innovative, affordable and scalable solutions for global development problems like education, health, sustainability, disability, poverty and climate change. This is an era where pace of technology advancement and adoption of solutions happens at much faster rate than ever. Tech for Impact Asia Summit 2019 presented by CSRBOX and AGNIi (Invest India) is a summit taking place on 23rd-24th September, which will focus on technological interventions which are helping development sector to create larger and sustainable impacts. Technology is the need of the hour and corporate, government, impact investors, philanthropic foundations are exploring Tech based implemen-tation partners to work on solving complex societal problems. 01 03 Indian Institute Of Technology, MadrasIndian Institute of Technology Madras is one among the foremost institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and applied research. The Institute was formally inaugurated in 1959 by Prof. Humayun Kabir, Union Minister for Scientific Research and Cultural Affairs. Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) - IIT Bombay Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), hosted at IIT Bombay, is an umbrella for fostering entrepreneurship and nurturing tech start-ups. Set up in 2004, it is one of the earliest incubators in academia with a potential to create
