  • The Plan of the Master Weaver

Our lives are but fine weavings that God and we prepare

Each life becomes a fabric planned and fashioned in his care.

The weavings intertwine, but we must trust the Master’s hand and follow his

design. For he can view the pattern upon the upper side,

While we must look from underneath and trust in him to guide….

Sometimes a strand of sorrow is added to his plan, and though it’s difficult

for us, we still must understand that it’s he who fills the shuttle, it’s he who

knows what best; so we must weave in patience and leave to him the rest…..

Not till the loom is silent and the shuttle cease to fly shall god unroll the can-

vas and explain the reason why – the dark threads are as needed in the

weaver’s skillful hand as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern he has

    planned.

  • Lessons From “Papa”

Live, Love, be responsible and true to yourself. If you do these things you will succeed in life.

Work hard and play hard, no regrets, persevere. Family first, it is never too little, late or too

much. Be honest and help others rather than just helping yourself. Stand for something you

believe in, or you will fall. You do not have to fit in with the “norm”, be different, unique. Fight

for the weak and it will make you strong. It does not matter the size of your home, how much

money you make. You can lose it tomorrow. What truly makes you rich is how you treat peo-

ple, while you’re here, now and through your lifetime. So your memory and your purpose will

never die, it will live on through deeds, convictions and unity. Alone, we can’t, together, we

can. For a better tomorrow, start helping someone in need today!

    Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke

upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your

souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

  • “To Papa”

To my papa! I love you!

As I look at you sleep, I have thoughts of great memories, the moments we shared are gracefully

unforgettable, and you raise me from a baby into a beautiful young woman. You thought me to

farm, you placed me on your feet and thought me how to waltz and you even dab a bit of liquor

on my lips ever now and then. I’m having dejavu of being a little girl standing by the bridge

waiting for you to return home from work so I can have your leftovers. Papa……..I see you now

a sleep in peace will not be walking through the door to greet me again but I will always remem-

ber the moments we share and will cherish forever.

    RIP Papa, I love you!!

    Great granddaughter Sharon P.

    “To my Grandpa”

Who would have thought you would go so soon. With you being gone, my life is so gloom.

I hate the fact you’ve gone away, but in my heart, I know you’ll stay. You taught me right, you

taught me wrong and with this knowledge I must go on. With hurt and pain in my heart,

I do know that we’ll never be apart. You made me laugh, you made me cry. With those moments, I

will make it by and by. You are gone this I see and I know you’re in heaven watching down on me.

I love you papa and I always will, but losing you is a great big deal. The suffering has ended and

you’ve gone home to sit with our Father on his throne.

    Love always…

    Great granddaughter Shevonne M.
