A L A R G E R E G I O NA L A U D I E N C EBeginning in 2007 the Ridgway River Festival has grown to attract people from all over the Western Slope, including: Telluride, Grand Junction, and Durango. Not only locals use and appreciate our river, visitors from all over the Upper Colorado River Basin come to enjoy this festival.

• Kids Eddy. Children of all ages participate in our a hands-on learning center where they learn how to cast a rod, play with aquatic bugs, and learn how a watershed works.

Six thousand people looking for high country adventure in the form of rafting, mountain climbing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, jeeping and OHVs pass through every day in June (CDOT, 2012).

The Ridgway RiverFest is a must-attend summer event in the northern San Juan Mountains of western Colorado. This all-day celebration of the Uncompahgre River Watershed brings together our community and attracts visitors from throughout the area with all-age river races, educational activities, live music, and local food and beverages. Outdoor enthusiasts flock to the event to enjoy river-based activities and party with a few hundred friends – old and new.

Your tax-deductible contribution will support this festive event and help promote awareness of our rivers and water resources. All sponsors will be recognized in all RiverFest promotional materials (website, social media, radio, print ads, newspapers, and flyers). Most Sponsor Levels can be traded for wholesale items or services.

The RiverFest is produced by Ouray County’s Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership, a 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN: 46-2946756) working to help protect the economic, natural, and scenic values of the Upper Uncompahgre Watershed for the benefit of our entire community.
