CarterBrothers, the Fire, Life Safety & Security, and Project Management Company was co-founded in 2000 by

NFL Hall of Fame Inductee, Chairman, Cris Carter, and his brother, John F. Carter, President & CEO. Under their

purview, the firm rapidly grew to more than 500 employees, and over a billion dollars in installations. Now

celebrating 15 years of service, the award-winning company serves clients nationally through relationships with

blue chip corporations.

CarterBrothers growth can be attributed to the founders’ intuitive and strategic insight. In 2012, Carter Brothers

made a strategic decision to sell its Fire & life Safety Division to focus on its growing presence in Electronic

Security. In 2013, the firm launched CarterBrothers Security Services (CBSS) offering innovative electronic

security solutions through a delivery methodology that provides a consistent, cost effective approach for clients

through planning, design, procurement, project management, installation, and maintenance. In January, 2014

the acquisition of DNS Consolidated a mechanical engineering contractor and D&N Electric (DNE), celebrating

its 45th year as a leader in sophisticated and innovative high & low voltage electrical services positioned the

firm as one of the largest privately held, minority and family-owned, electronic security , mechanical and

electrical services firms in the Southeast.

Today, CarterBrothers Mechanical, formerly DNS Consolidated, through a mentor/protégé strategic

alliance with Mallory & Evans, is positioned as the largest minority controlled mechanical contractors in the

South. Considered one of the largest and most successful mechanical contractors in the Southeast, Mallory &

Evans has over 60 years experience in the engineering, installation, and servicing of commercial and industrial

facilities. By combining the expertise of Mallory & Evans, the CarterBrothers Mechanical formerly DNS
