Dear Friends, Established in 1960, primarily to develop quality human resources for industrial and societal growththrough excellence in technical education in this part of the country. JEC provides UndergraduateEngineering programs, Post Graduate Programs and PhD programs in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil,Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering and Computer Application.Student strength of JECis about 1500 and students from all parts of Assam and North East. ABOUT JORHAT ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Age old Government Engineering College of Assam, serving the nation since 10th October, 1960, having its campus spread over a land area of over 78 acres. Ten student hostels including two girls hostel with 24 hrs of high speed internet facility. Offers AICTE recognized B.E., M.E. and PHD Degrees in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science & Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and also offers Master Degree in Computer Application (M.C.A.). All course are affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Assam The institute uses innovative teaching-learning methodology, state-of-the-art computer labs and provides opportunities to learn technologies in real time. The success of our alumni is a proof to claim that, we ensure overall professional development of students, who are transformed into industry-ready professionals.
