A revision has separated AS 1668 – The use of ventilation and air conditioning in buildings into two parts:
• AS1668.2–Mechanicalventilationofbuildings
• AS1668.4–Naturalventilationofbuildings
The Standards Australia committee has prepared the documents for consideration by the Australian Building Codes Board for adoption in to the National Construction Code.

Simon represents AIRAH on Standards Australia’s Ventilation andAirConditioningCommitteeME-062.Heischairofthesub-committeesresponsibleforFireandsmokecontrolinmulti-compartmentbuildings,Firedampers,andMaintenanceoffireandsmokecontrolfeaturesofmechanicalservices.Simonhasbeeninvolvedincontracting,designandengineeringmanagementintheairconditioningindustryforcloseto40yearsandhasdeliveredseminarsandtrainingforAIRAHrelatedtoAS1668.1andAS1668.2since1991.

Registrationmaybecancelleduptofiveworkingdayspriortocommencementofthecoursewithparticipantseithertransferringtoanothercourse/eventorreceivingarefundlessa20%administrationfee.Norefundwillbegivenwherecancellationis24hoursorless.InallothercasesofcancellationtheextentofanyrefundwillbeatthediscretionofAIRAH.
