/ill li9e happily in the marsh by the stream>?
?!roa': +roa': +roa':? /as all her son +ould say

Tiny sailed past many to/ns: and the little
birds in the bushes sa/ her: and sang: ?;hat a
lo9ely little +reature? so the leaf s/am a/ay
/ith her farther and farther: till it brought her
to other lands> A gra+eful little /hite butterDy
+onstantly Duttered round her: and at last
alighted on the leaf> Tiny pleased him: and she
/as glad of it: for no/ the toad +ould not
possibly rea+h her: and the +ountry through
/hi+h she sailed /as beautiful: and the sunshone upon the /ater: till it glittered li'e li=uid

for if he +ould not free himself he /ould die of

himself at all about the matter> .e seated
himself by her side on a large green leaf: ga9e
her some honey from the Do/ers to eat: and
told her she /as 9ery pretty: though not in the
least li'e a +o+'+hafer> After a time: all the
+o+'+hafers turned up their feelers: and said:
?She has only t/o legsH .o/ ugly that loo's>?
?She has no feelers:? said another> ?.er /aist

?8hH She is ugly:? said all the lady +o+'+hafers:

her: and told her she might go /here she li'ed>
Then he De/ do/n /ith her from the tree: and

And all the /hile she /as really the lo9eliest

She felt dreadfully +old: for her +lothes /ere

that poor little Tiny /as nearly fro$en to death> Then she /rapped

Poor little Tiny stood before the door ust li'e a

?@ou poor little +reature:? said the eld3mouse:

Toby said nothing but /hen the t/o othershad turned their ba+'s on the bird: she
