STATIONERY PACKAGE

A logo and stationery package that was designed for a relaxing bed and breakfast located in Muskoka. I changed the original name from Lazy Dayz to Sweet Dreams and used an appropriate color scheme to give the company it’s own personality. I also used a simple but sophisticated typeface throughout each piece to create consistency and hierarchy.

A logo and promotional brochure designed to advocate the benefits of choosing Thistlebird Resort as your next vacation destination. The appropriate colors of green and brown were used to emphasize the beautiful outdoor activities and adventures that Thistlebird has to offer.

PROMOTIONAL DIRECT MAILER

A direct mailer that was designed to promote a new restaurant opening soon titled Squeaky’s Bar & Grill. I wanted it to look interesting enough that a consumer would read it rather than just throw it out. To do this, I used appropriate colors and copy to grab the attention of a large audience.

CATALOGUE

An editorial spread, cover and logo that was designed for a catalogue titled Comtempary Home. To allow easy readability, it was very important that hierarchy and an organized layout or grid was present. The appropriate images were taken off the internet and then resized to the proper size and resolution that was requested.

WEDDING INVITATIONS

A) Bridal shower invitation; the client requested that a cupid be displayed on the invitation. As I have never done an invitation before, examples online provided motivation and persistance. B) Wedding postcard; the client provided an image displaying what she wanted so I used my own typography and layout skills to make it look as simililar as possible. The image on the front was also provided by the client.

CREATIVE COFFEE

A package project that consisted of designing a logo, coffee bags, a coffee cup, signage, a vehicle wrap, packaging for a product of your choice and a P.O.S for the chosen product. With the name Funky Bean, I gave the brand its own personality by designing everything with a bit of eccentricity. I also kept everything consistent by using similar elements (such as coffee beans), typefaces and colors throughout each piece.

USER INTERFACES

A website designed for Sweet Dreams Bed and Breakfast. A comforting and sophisticated color scheme was chosen to emphasize the cozy rooms that Sweet Dreams has to offer. For easy readibility on the web, sans serif typefaces were also chosen. The website features easy navigation through a menu along both the header and footer.
