Ignition server forward Syslog information to the IDAT which will be examinateand condensed stored in a Postgres Data Base. Up to 50 million authentication/ accounting events can be kept in the Data Base.

Helpdesk and Audit team get access to a intuitive WEB interface.

Three different access rights are available (full, partial, read only)IDAT user can be authenticated and authorised by Radius like Ignition server

Authentication record can be enriched by query the switch via SNMP(v2 & v3)to readout from DHCP-Snooping the MAC - IP address binding, as well the VLAN-ID and name.

If IP address is given, a DNS query is processed to get the Full Qualified Domain Name.

If a authentication fails, helpdesk is able to add this MAC address depending on the Guest Manager provisioner group rights. This is required for short term user access in urgent cases.

Helpdesk is able to provide a time how long the MAC address will be valid,but can not be longer then Guest Manager allow.
