• Examples: COAL, OIL, or NATURAL GAS

2. Alternative Energy: Any fuel that is not a fossil fuel

• Costs to transport are high

• Limited Supply (non-renewable)

• Pipelines disturb ecosystems

• LEAKS DESTROY ecosystems
