Explosion Proof LED Flashlight - 4 Watt - Push Button Switch - MADE IN THE USAPart #: EXP-LED-F4W
Buy American Made
The Larson Electronics EXP-LED-F4W intrinsically safe LED flashlight has a 4 watt LED that produces a very tight, well focused pencil
beam of light. Unlike many LED flashlights which produce a wide beam spread, this unit produces a tight round spot beam with clearly
defined edges, giving it excellent range and intensity. The specially designed grip pattern provides secure handling, even in wet, oily
and slippery conditions. Weatherproof and intrinsically safe, this light produces a light beam that at 100 feet has a spread of only 9
feet.
This LED flashlight features a deep dish reflector that focuses the light from the high output LED into a tight round beam. An ergonomic tactical
design adds great versatility and durability, allowing this light to be used in industrial or professional applications with equal effectiveness. A
rubber push button switch provides easy operation while a knurled body design allows for maximum grip and control. Constructed of highly
durable nylon, this unit is watertight and able to withstand the rigors of aggressive and heavy duty use and applications. Power for this light is
provided by 3 AA-cell alkaline batteries which give this unit a runtime of 80 hrs. The high intensity LED in this light produces 90 lumens, almost 3
times that of halogen incandescent D cell flashlights, and has a lifetime of 30,000 hours, compared to the 50 hour average for an incandescent
flashlight bulb.
This Led flashlight was tested by W. Thomas Smith on a 36 hour outing with the U.S. Counterterrorism Advisory Team. The results of this field
testing led Mr. Thomas to call this LED flashlight: “perhaps the most-superbly designed flashlight I’ve ever owned, certainly the best all-weather,
weapons-mountable, waterproof, explosion-proof, reasonably priced .... hard-plastic flashlight I’ve ever tested.” You can view Mr. Thomas’ review
here.

The EXP-LED-F4W LED beam is intense, high
quality, and tight even when hitting the back
wall of this 40' container.
This particular snapshot shows the comparable
Larson Electronics LE-224 Halogen flashlight.
Notice the halogen is less bright and more
yellowish.
Illumination of the EXP-LED-F4W at 225 feet.
This LED flashlight meets the highest safety
ratings for hazardous locations at a price below
$50. However, this flashlight still delivers a
strong beam to 250 feet.

HEATING PROCEDURES
In reference to the use of heat for coating application purposes during low temperatures, Blast All Inc. proposes to use Frost Fighter indirect fired space heaters to provide required temperature conditions per coating manufacturer’s specifications.
Indirect heating units will be connected to existing containment. Units will be placed in a secure location and will channel heated air into the containment during operations. Additionally, each indirect heating unit will be accompanied by a fire extinguisher and shall be kept away from obstructions and flammable materials. Operation of indirect heating units will strictly abide to the operator’s manual and recommendations.
Personnel will monitor heating units during work operations to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Please reference data sheets for equipment specifications.
If there any questions regarding this matter or if further information is required, please contact our main office.
