THE OPPORTUNITY
The Vision Real Estate Investment team became aware of the opportunity at 950 West Norton through a local bank. The building had been owned by several entities in recent years and was not being properly managed. It also had a challenging location. The result was high vacancy rates and deferred maintenance.
THE RESULT
The property’s renovation began in summer of 2017 and was completed by October 2017. Improvements were made to the building’s roof, parking lot, signage, awnings, and lighting. Vision also applied new paint throughout the space and installed a new HVAC unit.
Our team was able to overcome the challenges presented with this space thanks to a variety of interior
and exterior improvements, as well as a conscious effort to develop good relationships with the tenants
we serve. Our partnership with X Venture has also ensured better occupancy moving forward.
