Last May, Joe Cali dropped byCapistrano & played a few cutsfrom an upcoming Lori LiebermanCD that will be released in a fewmonths time. One track, he wasparticularly proud of was "Burden& Gift" a rough demo version(piano and vocal) with a lovelymelody... Fast forward to CES2015, Joe returned with thefinished version... guitar instead ofpiano accompaniment and anexquisite fiddle brought in halfwaythrough the song that adds aheartbreaking plaintive quality tothis gorgeous song.
It occurred to me that how a songevolved from inception to finalform, "The Evolution Of A GreatSong", would be a greatdemonstration for audio show andseminar attendees... <full musing>

Luxman's New M700u awarded'BEST OF CES 2015' fromSoundStage! Network
"My review of Luxman's M900u power amplifier ... tobe published... probably in late March... it's the bestlooking, bestbuilt, bestsounding amplifier I've everheard, tubed or solidstate. It's also far more powerfulthan its output spec 150Wpc into 8 ohms would leadyou to believe. But its price of $19,900 will keep theM900u out of the reach of most, and its considerablesize and weight will make it impractical for others.
... I was thrilled to see Luxman's new M700u. At$9,900 and about twothirds the size of the M900u,the M700u is ...
