In the United States of America, there is a beast about to erupt. This beast is a super volcano under Yellowstone National park. The eruption of this super volcano would cause mass destruction for the area and also create a cloud of ash that could cover half the country.

Scientist know that this will occur in due time because evidence of its last eruption around 70,000 years ago and from past eruptions before the last show the eruption period to be around every 60,000 to 70,000 years. Also, many earthquakes have been recorded in the area and the ground temperature is rising. Evidence shows a volcano is there and is getting close to erupting.

The sun is hitting the time where it becomes more active. This occurs every 10 to 12 years and is when solar flares usually occur. The solar maximum for this time is lower than ones recorded in the past 50 years. It is confusing astronomers and they are trying to look for a new measuring system. They say the sun will peak around May 2013 with only 90 sunspots. This is the lowest number of sunspots recorded since 1928.

This may seem like it won’t cause anything big like a solar flare. Though, one cycle recorded in 1859 peaked around the same amount as set for May 2013. This cycle caused a solar flare that would cause a couple trillion dollars of damage if it was to occur today. A solar flare of immense size will hit Earth at some point in time. The only problem is we don’t know when.

Over Earth’s history, ice ages have occurred around every 15,000 years or so. This was found by looking at ice cores and ocean sediment cores that show periods of immense ice sheets and glaciers. Also, glacier moraines show the growth and reduction of glaciers over time and can show high amounts of growth caused by a freezing period on Earth.

With this in mind, the last ice age occurred around 20,000 years ago and that means the next one can occur soon. The one thing that might be holding it back is global warming. Also, the one thing that could help start it is the low solar maximum of the sun in the next few years. An ice age is not a big threat but could cause the extinction of many species and maybe man-kind. Only time will tell when man-kind will end. (weird, because we created time)

The Ice Age may be here sometime soon. The only reason it may not seem like it is because of global warming. Scientists say the only reason for the warming of the Earth has been from the rise of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and that can only be caused by man. This link helps describe this better.

The world is getting low on oil. That is a fact. This is bad because the United States and many countries rely on oil. Once we run out, which is predicted to be around 2050, we will be either dead or in World War 3 to get other resources to survive. We don’t need another world war. The only way to really stop this is to find a new power/ fuel source. There are many out there and many people are too stupid to see that. What to do?

There is nothing we can do to stop this!

Civilization was built based on the idea of religion. Humans have believed in higher beings for over 15,000 years. There is a problem though. Religion has caused many problems over the centuries. War, crazy leaders hungry for power, and many other things. Religion in about six billion people’s eyes seems the main thing that caused everything we know as reality today, but there are those people who do not believe in the higher beings and they hated because of that. They believe in science and maybe nothing. Christianity, Islamism, and Judaism are the three main monotheistic religions of today, while every other main civilization on Earth has a polytheistic religion. This is the thing that doesn’t make sense. The Eastern world (Europe and Asia minor) is the area where these three monotheistic religions rose to power.

Every other main religion of today and in history is polytheistic. All the polytheistic religions rose in the Western World and also part of Europe. The ones in Europe were thrown off the throne by a monotheistic religion. Part of reason for the fall of the Roman Empire was because of Christianity and today, one billion people are said to be Catholic. I don’t know how this works but it seems that religion is the cause of more bad things than good things for the human race. I don’t know though because the human is a complex being. Time will tell if religion is true or not. If you want to see the views of Christians and the views of Atheists about how the human race started and all the stuff relating to that, check out Google and search up the views of each. If man-kind was non-existent, would Earth still be here? That is a yes and would be better off without us anyway. Nature could thrive and the laws of nature would work out all the problems. Man-kind was apart of nature, but something changed. What was that thing that changed? Every time we will find an answer to a question that seems like it answers everything, more questions will arise that are even harder to answer. It is human to continue on and answer these questions, but if no one continues on, will that affect anyone else? I don’t know.
